Clonetale. Never heard of it? I made it on my own, how could it not be my favourite. If you know me better, you probably also know that I hate most AUs. But it’s not always all or nothing, is it? I actually like few of them, but after seeing what fandom does with this game… Ok, but let’s just start with what even is Clonetale. Let’s start with that I didn’t even tried to make it. I dreamt it. Here’s how the dream looked.

It all started with my friend making a minecraft server, where we wanted to roleplay. He added me to discord group, told me my role and everything. I was supposed to roleplay as Chara. I joined the server and it started with hole in the ground. We were idiots that for some reason decided to jump straight into it. We fainted. I left the server for a couple of days because of school and other stuff that was happening irl, but when I rejoined the server I just could not belive what I saw: My friend and my friend’s friend roleplaying and being watched by hundreds of people. When I asked him what happened he said that our roleplay became popular. I quickly noticed that my soul was partially black and I asked him what is it. He answered, that when we jumped, we fainted, then sientists came and took a sample from my soul to make a clone of me. Then he explained that we need to defeat Clone Chara if I want to get my soul and memories back. And then we had to fight a giant earthworm. YES, A GIANT EARTHWORM. So we defeated it, killed Clone Chara and I got my soul back. The end.
Because the dream was too crazy and things were just happening without explaination, I made some changes to the story. Here’s the fixed verion:
The biggest change is that the monsters won the war. They didn’t want to fight, so they wanted to stop the war. The peace was finally achieved, but most of human race was dead. Few years later, Frisk and Chara meet each other and become friends. They go to playground, but they see a large hole in the ground. Chara accidentally trips and falls into it. Frisk not wanting to fall into that hole again decides to wait for Chara to come back. Chara faints, sientists come and take a sample of her soul (Chara and Frisk are both female in this AU). Chara wakes up, she sees her soul being partially black and goes explore the place. She is told by a fellow sientist, that they tried to clone her, to save humanity from extinction. Then they go explore and stuff, they enter chamber with Clone Chara, she summons Umbris (A quetzalcoatl because giant earthworm wasn’t as cool). They finally defeat Clone Chara, blah blah blah that was explained in the dream section.
So yes, I am working on ENTIRE AU because of stupid hallucinations I got at night.
