It's 2087, and the world is in shambles. Nuclear war has turned it into a bleak, gray, game of death. You can shake your fists at the graves of the leaders who condemned us all, but they were prepared for the consequences. They knew this would happen. And still, they went forwards with the plans. The plans that would lead to everything's destruction.

This, is true survival. Not as you know it in games, in books, in movies. This, is real. Real desperation. Real fights. Real death. It's time to wake up from the fantasy you grew up in. Time to face the cruel world of reality. You can say goodbye to warmth and comfort and protection, they're gone. Forever.

Survival is key. And any means to acheive it is legal. Laws don't exist, and even if they did, they would be nothing but empty worlds. But there are a few mutual agreements which you must respect, should you wish to ensure your relative safety.

1. All PH rules apply.
2. Mild swearing is allowed, please try to censor it.
3. Sorry, but no special powers this time. Certain talents are allowed, such as inhuman calculation skills or learning abilities, but still within the realm of possibility.
4. 5 character max per person, unlimited supporting characters. (Supporting characters are basically NCPs controlled by you, without thought processes or emotional description, simply characters that have to exist to move the plot along.) Supporting characters must be signed-up as well.
5. Romance is... Allowed. But not the main focus. This is survival people, no time for other endevours. Looking at a certain pair...

Name: Athena Luminia Lediana
Age: 11
Appearance: Pale blonde hair and picture perfect features, there is not a single speck of dust on whatever glamorous outfit she is wearing. She is always looking like she's about to go to a gala. Or should I say... Was.
Personality: Innocent and carefree, some might go the extra length and say naive. She's always looking on the bright side, and believes that everyone is good, trying to help and cheer everyone up, a small bundle of sunshine and rainbows.
Talent(s): Amazing at all things logic, and having an impeccable sense of direction and a great memory.
Backstory: Growing up in a bubble, Athena's view of the world was very different from everyone else's. Her family was rich, and actively participated in the development of nuclear weapons. Her parents, wanting to protect her from the cruelty of reality, didn't tell her about the tension and eventual war, held interviews in a secret part of the house, and forbid any way of her finding out the truth.
But reality will always find a way to push in, no matter how tighter you draw your walls.

A tall, handsome, broad-shouldered man, 6'2 in height, 156 Ibs in weight. He has long, golden-brown hair, tied into a tight ponytail behind him. He is muscular, but thin. He wears a cropped red hoodie over top a tight white shirt, tucked neatly into his blue ripped jeans. He wears scuffed white sneakers and has twinkling blue eyes. He has bandages wrapped tightly around his hands, due to his boxing training.

Personality:
A fun-loving, free spirited man, Kendo is amiable, yet sarcastic, funny and likeable. He makes a conscious effort to get along with everyone he meets, and loves making new friends. He NEVER takes 'No' for an answer, but knows his limits and respects everyone's feelings. He is an artist, cook and musician, and is searching for love.

Personality: A very socially anxious person. He's usually chill, but acts tired all the time. He can get mad, but that takes a lot of effort to get him very mad.
Talent(s): Because he is smaller than other people but average size! he can get around faster and fit into smaller spaces. Also, he has read a lot of books, so he knows a bit on how to survive this. is this fine?
Backstory: Was born in an average family, and had a mostly average life with his parents and two sisters, but has a lot of trauma with social encounters so he's anxious and shy. Also, barely got (and barely will get) any sleep, so he acts tired a lot.

Name: Li Fengyu [Dr. Rain to foreigners] (cause the yu part of Li Fengyu means Rain)
Age: 22
Appearance: Long Black hair with few red strands (that he was too lazy to cut). Usually wears a white or black mask, white trench coat and some casual wear inside. During work, he has blue sanitary gloves on at all times.

Personality: A typical overthinker, mixed with a day dreamer. Usually his mind is not in the present. But when he is thinking in the present, Li Fengyu usually speaks his mind, and always has many tricks that helps his survival. Hates complicated stuff, because he will overthink. Hates easy stuff, cause he will overthink. Has OCD and is a mild germaphobe.
Talent(s): Knows ALOT about the body, and how it works. Can tell how, when a person died. Unfazed when threatened, unfazed at almost everything. Good combat skills, and knows how to use many different types of guns, and fast reactions, good memory.
Backstory: Years ago, when Li Fengyu was a child, he came back home, to see his mother gone, and his dad dead, by hanging himself. Mildly panicking, Li Fengyu dialed 112 to the police, and the ambulance. At the end, his mother couldn't be found, and his father was dead. The police told him that he does by suicide, but Li Fengyu who was a bright child since birth did not believe that. Thus ever since then, he worked hard and became a powerful Forensic Investigator. Worked and solved many difficult and hidden cases with his team. Works as a forensic professor at his down time.

Name: Kaori Kim
Age: 14
Appearance: She has long, straight black hair. She also has long bangs, which brush her eyes, and side bangs (Kind of like Yor Forger's bangs from SpyxFamily). Because of the first accident in school, she has a permanent limp. And when she is stressed, her limp is bad enough that she can't walk at all. She wears a baggy black hoodie, with a white design on it. She also has black jeans, with the 'fancy ripped-holes'. To top it off, she has a pair of black sneakers. Because of her second accident in school, she has a scar on her neck, which she often hides with her hoodie. But the scar is bright red, as if it was still bleeding (it's not though).
Personality: She is very shy, and spends a lot of time alone. She is always in the corner, watching everything, remembering everything. She is often overlooked and forgotten, but she doesn't mind as she is devoid of emotions (reason in backstory). She sometimes has flashbacks of her time in school (not good), and those flashbacks can sometimes (rarely!) lead to panic attacks.
Talent(s): She has a photographic memory, which means that she remembers things perfectly. She hides it from others as she believes that it is something that a freak has, and she didn't want to be known as a freak again (also again in backstory). Her photographic memory doesn't come in handy a lot, but she always tries to use it, or make it useful.
Backstory: Starting from a young age, she had been shunned by everybody because of her shyness and 'freaky' memory. Teased and bullied a lot, she was often sent to the hospital for injuries from 'acts of meanness'. After a particularly bad injury, her parents removed her from school and homeschooled her. But Kaori hated the homeschooling so much that she tried to convince her parents to let her go to school again, but her parents said no every single time, and enforced 'house boundaries' to make sure that she wouldn't sneak out to go to school. But she was able to sneak out a couple times, and went to school, where the bullying started again. After another bad wound, her parents placed her under house arrest and kept an eye on her 24/7.

(Each piece of red clothing is a different shade of red.) He is mainly seen carrying his red backpack, which holds his special grappling hook gun in the left pocket.
Personality: Loves the subjects of Art and English. Also loves the genre of Horror. Spencer believes in many superstitions.
Talent(s): Great at Drawing, Creative Writing, and Random Trivia. He also knows how to handle a crowbar.
Backstory: Spencer comes from a small town known as TumbleWood. He predicted that something like this would happen a couple of years earlier, and now that time has finally come. He also has two younger twin sisters named June and July, which are basically NPCs. I control what happens to them, but not any of their thoughts or their own actions.
