"... Plus c'est sombre, mieux c'est...It doesn't work that way in
my world." They said. Je déteste y penser!
It's...traumatizing. "Then again, light isn't that good too..."
cass just has trauma

"You're not..." I'm in charge of myself. "...Mais je n'aime
pas être seul non plus..!" They called after Kendo. Dark...or
light...? Ehh...I don't wanna be alone...but I still don't know if
I should trust him...il avait l'air d'être sur le point de me tuer
plus tôt. But the light path seems like a trap-! They were just
having a hard time picking.

Wott was still having fun shooting lightning at the walls. It made
this nice, shiny sparks, and the maze deserved it too. It was being
mean, and not very nice, so the maze deserved this punishment.
In front of the prodigians (I have no idea what to call them. so Im
gonna be fun and quirky), the crossroads appeared. One path dark,
one path bright. The sign appeared as well.
"Oh well guess this maze hates us for insulting it..." Valerie
muttered, looking at the pathways. "Noot, are you able to detect
anything? Like shadow magic?"
Noot shrugged, concentrating and trying to sense out the shadow
magic... if there was any.
"Nope, no shadow magic. That's a good thing at least." Noot
answered. "Luma doesn't get hunted by the order."
Valerie sighed, thinking. "What other methods can we use to check
the paths?" she asked herself. Wott decided to shoot two beams of
lightning, one towards each path, to see if that would do anything.
Or he really hated the maze
The maze decided that it didnt like the lightning. Instead of doing
anything of lasting impact, it simply absorbed teh lightning then
spit it back out at Wott. This maze is quite evil.
Wott screeched at the maze. If anyone understood "wott-speak" that
meant "MAZE I HATE YOU GO TO MAZE JAIL"
"Guess the maze hates you." Valerie commented on her partner's
antics, before observing the pathways. "If I was the maze creator,
I would want everyone to take the path that seems 'safe'. Light
usually signifies safety and welcomeness, so with that
logic..."
"We're taking the dark path I guess!" she said, summoning a ball of
fire at the end of her staff and heading towards the dark path.
Noot followed, questioning her logic.
Wott made a squeak of pain, glaring at the maze. I mean Wott you
were shooting lighting at the walls a few minutes ago so you kinda
deserve it. Either way he screeched at the maze again.
The dark path was hard to see in, but it looked less deceiving than
the light path.
Oh, why didn’t she develop a demon art that could provide
light?
Emiru heard what seemed like a bolt hitting a wall.
Somewhere distant, it looked like someone was hitting a wall with
lightning, just for it to return it back.
How amusing, watching the brick fall on his head shortly after.
Her rose staff had leaned toward one of the walls without her
knowing, the rose part touching the wall.
She watched as the poison from the rose seemingly seeped through
the wall.
No fancy tricks here. Simply a teenage daredevil who had a death
wish. So of course, Athena turned onto the dark path. Ah, just
another normal day. Taking barely thought out risks and having fun
walking towards potential doom. But even she drew her sword, all
senses on high alert.
The room at the end of the dark hallway was dark. It had numerous
pathways, with more appearing by the second. Of course, I'm not
gonna reveal what's inside just yet. Kendo sheathed his sword.
Lucinda glanced at Kaori, she was sure that Kaori didn’t know that
she was fighting against Demons just like her. She had seen Kaori
perform the flower breathing power and knew that she could be
trusted. She closed her eyes and summoned two cats, they each took
a path. She waited until both of them came back, and headed to the
darker path with her sword at hand and a ball of flame in the
other.
Wott seemed like he wanted to electrocute the walls again, but
thought about it for once, before deciding not to.
Valerie looked around the room. Luma could use totality to
literally light up the room... but who knows how much energy that
dragon has stored at the moment. And off course, maze no trust. She
simply expanded the fire at the end of her staff.
"well...I, eh..." Cass took a little bit more to decide. "...wait
for me!" They called, rushing down the dark hallway, illuminating
the hallway with their glow.
