"Thank you ma'am." Emika said, smiling lightly as well, taking up the sedatives and placing them back into her purse. She gave a nod to the security guard before exiting the office. She had heard the bell ring and smiled. Time to see Jackie!
Marina waved after Jackie with her usual smile. "Bye Jackie!" She called after her.
Upon the bell's sounding, Eris too gathered her things and headed to the forest. She sat underneath a tree, awaiting Lottie, as she knew the forest very well.

Jackie looked around and about for Emika. She finally spotted her. "Emika!!" She smiled brightly and ran to her, giving her a big warm hug.
Lottie found Eris in the forest. She frowned a little, took a deep breath and walked to where she was...she sat in front of her, but kept a distance.

Emika smiled warmly and returned the hug. "Hello Jackie." She said.
Eris fidgeted a little, unsure of how to proceed with the needed conversation. It had taken her a long time to confront her birth family about what they had done, so this wasn't going to be easy...

Jackie smiled happily. "Ooh! Let's go to our dorm room!" She said. She picked Emika up and carried her to their dorm happily. She also skipped along the way.
Lottie didn't know what to say either...."I...I'm...why did you....I don't get....I didn't mean..." Lottie said. Her words were all over the place..

Emika helped in surprise at being picked up by Jackie.
Eris lifted her hand in a stop signal. She sighed. "I understand you didn't mean to send me in a trauma induced spiral. Please understand that I wasn't trying to seem uncaring. I... didn't have the best examples of 'help' growing up..."

Jackie kicked the door open with a smile. She placed Emika on her side of the bed. She closed the door and sat on her bed. "I'm so happy to see you again!!" She beamed.
"I get that!! But, filing your nails was kind of cold....no offense but...it didn't hurt to at least try again to help Veronica..." Lottie frowned.

Emika giggled. "Jackie! We see each other all the time! But it is good to see you again."
"What else was I supposed to do? I was trying to respect her boundaries and give her space, and I happened to look at my hands. Sometimes it's better for someone to have some time to themselves than to try to talk..."

Jackie pouted. Not all the time! Most of our classes are separated except for cooking class! That's not fair!! I wanna be with you more." Jackie said.
"But filing your nails at such a time gives off a bad attitude! You know what, forget it. Have you at least seen Veronica after the bell rang??" Lottie said.

Eris sighed. Some talk... "No. Although I heard some people gossiping about something happening with Emika and Veronica in their class."

"Was Veronica in your class by any chance? Is she okay? We should go see her in her dorm!!" Jackie said.
Lottie frowned. Emika...was she up to no good? "What...what was the gossiping about? Did she hurt her? Is Veronica okay?" She said.

Emika tensed. "She's...not in her dorm currently..." She said, looking away.
Eris thought carefully. "Something about Veronica going 'feral' and Emika knocked her out. Something about a hypodermic needle?"

Jackie frowned a little. "Why? What happened? Is she okay? Did she not feel better? Is she getting worse?" She asked.
Lottie frowned deeply. "Veronica probably refused to go back to the hospital. Maybe she was feeling worse and didn't want to admit it? And...about Emika knocking her out....and the needle...she maybe..I don't know. Maybe she had a sedative and knocked her out with it? But who's to say where she got it and why she has it?"

Emika took a deep breath, and spoke. "She never felt better to begin with. She was bleeding in class, but she didn't want to go back to the hospital. I..." She paused. Oh screw it, Jackie knew about her already. "I used a sedative on her. She's back at the hospital now."
Eris shrugged. "Hard to say. There are few reasons that allow the active carrying of a sedative..."

Jackie frowned a little. "Oh...I see..." she said. She then gave Emika a sad smile. "Well, if she kept refusing, I'm sure the nurses and other people that tried to stop her were glad for your help. I know you did the right thing. Veronica is in better hands now. But, I do have a question..." Jackie said.
"Maybe she has some sort of condition that allows her to carry such material? A disorder? I'm not sure." Lottie said.

Emika was thankful that Jackie was accepting about the situation. "Yes?" She said.
Eris nodded thoughtfully. "In most cases, when someone is or can be a danger to themselves and/or others, a select few will be authorized to carry sedatives in the case the individual has a sudden episode."

"Do you have the sedatives for...you know...Desire?...or...your disorder?" Jackie said with curiosity.
"Oh..." Lottie said. "I hope Veronica will be okay...I was hoping to see her after the bell rang..but I guess when she gets better soon." She said.

"Oh it is? I didn't know...so Desire is...technically your disorder?" Jackie said, making sure she got it correct and understood what Emika said.
Lottie smiled a little. "You know...Veronica isn't that bad. Even though she may act tough and rude, she's really such a sweetheart if you dig deep enough." Lottie said. "W-Wait, did I say that?!" Lottie said, a little flustered.

Emika nodded. "Desire is a result of my disorder. Having DID is what created Desire, and later moments only fueled her strength." She explained.
Eris was just as surprised. It took her a few moments to realize what it meant.

Lottie covered her face in embarrassment. "I didn't mean to say that!!" She said.
