Staring out the window, staring out the window, staring out the window which didn't exist. Ah, such a good metaphor for her life. Exhausion and desperation had made her a philosopher. Smiling dryly, Athena stood up and left, the flight not as exhilerating as usual, the morning routine of stealing food not as satisfying.

Settling down on a corner, Athena contemplated what Kendo had said. If she was going to start thinking all deep and emotional, might as well make good use of it. Overthrowing the government sounded amazing and all, but right now? It was just a broken dream.

Athena hissed, oh, why did he have to show up now!? Didn't anyone have a good sense of timing? Running past Chrono, she spun around and stopped, dangling the handcuffs in front of her face. Smiling sweetly, she said, "What is?"

Kaori woke up. It was the next morning, and she was outside. Standing up to gain her bearings, she had obviously forgotten about her injuries. When she fell over, she finally remembered what she could of what had happened last night. She had gotten injured trying to escape two fighting gangs, but had been beaten up. Sitting down, she looked around her for plausible materials to make makeshift crutches that would last long enough to get her to her hideout.

Looking around her, she was able to crawl like a disgraceful person she is to grab to long sticks. With the help of her hair ties and leaves, she made makeshift crutches that would hopefully last until she got to her hideout.

Athena was leaping away when the police arrived. The full scale police carry loaded lazer rifles, explosives, and any weapon imaginable. Dodging most of their attacks, she got unlucky when a few of them decided to rush her at once.

A stun gun managed to catch her in the right arm, immediately starting to immobilize her. Oh this was bad, really bad... Suddenly, her arms and legs felt numb and heavy as lead, dropping to her sides lifelessly.
