Let me tell you a secret,
The real monsters don't look like monsters~
The kids ooh'ed and wow'ed and clapped as Ayran masterfully solve the rubix cube with his slim and nimble fingers. Right beside them was a old man, who was just watching the scene, probably taking care of his grandchildren, while eating some sunflower seeds.
"Hey, young man! Hav ya herd of tha Lady in Red? I herd that she haz wings!" The old man said, while chewing on his roasted sunflower seeds, he was probably bored and wanted to do his old age gossiping.
Ayran hands didn't stop solving the rubix cube as he looked up and smiled at the Old Man, "Wings? The girl dressed in red? Hmm.. I think I might've Ol'Man John." Ayran smiled at him.
"After all, she is quite famous around here.." Saying that, Ayran turned around and saw a girl coming towards him, just as hands stopped and the rubix cube was solved. Ayran smiled at her.
She pricked her ears, listening to her surroundings. She could feel the familiar strange whispers on the wind that came when the shadows were trying to tell her something. For a second, she saw a brief flash. A rubix cube. Curious.
She walked through the town, following the path of the Phoenix's flight, until she saw her. Approaching a boy with a rubix cube.
Why was this her life? The shadowy threads looping together in path that everyone but her ignored? It was wise to protect oneself. That was why she had stayed in the shadows. Until Kendo came.

My current RP work:
Ayran turned his head back, leaning his hand away from the smaller thin malnourished hands that wanted to touch his rubix cube. He pretended that he saw nothing, and knew nothing, he was content in hiding his identity and the life he has right now. Laughing along with the kids, telling jokes, showing the kids tricks and making them happy, helping the elders, showing them that there was still hope in life.
He is content in just doing that, living his days freely, last night's incident was just a accident, and he has no plans in getting into any of the mess.
'Especially Them.'
The moon.
Hathor took solace in the fact that she hadn't pulled the Hermit again, and walked over to him.
"Hello, Mr. Ayran." A fleeting smile. "That is your name, isn't it? I'm sorry to interrupt, but I'm curious about your rubix cube."

She walked to the ruins of the town square. She pulled out a couple coins. Hopefully, this would be the amount needed to buy another silver flute. Her old one had been stolen, and she needed a new one. She walked up to a person, who had bags of instruments. She asked, "Will this buy a silver flute?" and held out the coins. The person, a man, said, "Missy, that'll buy you a run-down one. That's it." and took the coins from her. He looked into his bag and pulled out a rusty and run-down, hopefully still working, flute. Kaori bowed, and left. She pulled out a soaked piece of clean moss and started wiping the flute, removing the rust. She got a stone and hammered out the dings and dents. Soon (actually, a bit longer than that), the flute looked good as new. She played a single note, hoping that it would come out fine. It did. She hugged the flute tight, and went back to the town square to try earn some money playing it.
She started playing a popular song. A mysterious melody that warms people's hearts, a sweet song that makes you cry, and a melancholy tune that makes you feel.

"Cause if not, then no." Ayran refuses bluntly.
