The wall sliding open announced her arrival. Athena didn't bother hiding, the sound may have been tiny, but Kendo and Elucian had good ears. Kendo probably already knew she was following him.

Elucian rolled her eyes. What people didn't realize was that her power was connected to the earth itself. This planet had the polar subtlety of a bull in a china shop. She could feel four figures closing in on their position; two inside the lab, and two making their way down the street. All of them had similar vibes to that of her and Kendo...

"We have company, Abyss. One is Athena. The others... well I'm not sure."

She smiled, preparing some of her more sinister talents.

Lumis was just walking around the alley when she saw Athena slip into the shadows of a parallel ally, interest flooding her thoughts. She took out her spell book and lit up her hands up with a tiny flame. It cast some light and Lumis could just see Athena tap a stone, while it opened. ‘Diagon ally’ she thought and followed. The gate way closed behind her. Two other people were in front of Athena, Elucian and Abyss. Lumis noticed that she could feel a tingle down her spine. ‘They were magic too!’ Lumis thought excitedly and cast a camouflage spell on herself. It doesn’t disguise perfectly, there is still a chance someone could spot her, but she tried her best and crept behind Athena. Lumis was sure that the others could sense her presence, she just had to hope that the spell would stay on for now.

"Let them come. Nothing to be fearful or wary of, after all, we are two of the highest ranking members. Athena's not much of a problem, and if one of the others is ol' foxboy, I'd say we won't have too much trouble."

Kendo continued clicking through the files, occasionally downloading one into a USB drive he had prepared.

Lumis wasn’t sure to reveal herself or not, but they had to work together, this world isn’t safe now, they had to co-operate. Lumis undid the spell she cast and stepped out from the crates she was hiding behind and stepped into the path of Elucian and Abyss and said “greetings fellow villains, I take it you heard the tape? And also, I assume you are Abyss and Elucian.”

Elucian was pissed. Why did everyone know her given name? She was Compass, not Elucian. Luce, not El. This was getting annoying.

"Hello Lumis." She had done a job long ago with the spellcaster. Of course, the girl didn't know it had been her on the other end of her middleman, but technicalities. She respected the witch(?)'s abilites.

Theo huffed, watching the tape. ...Didn't he die years ago? He had no specific thoughts on the matter, but he knew he was gonna have fun. Villainhood was a good choice. He praised himself, then huffed. I wonder what all the other villains are doing...

Kendo slipped his hands into his pockets, the walked away, as if he had not just stolen highly classified files from a dead genetic scientist's secret laboratory. He whistled a slow tune as he walked towards the exit.

Athena pulled her hood down lower at the voice. She didn't really reveal herself even to other villains. Who knew what they would think. Better safe than sorry. It was Lumis, nothing to be worried about. Seems like Kendo had gotten his hands on some data. Nothing to worry about either. He did that all the time, coming to this lab, playing around with the computers. Well, nothing interesting so far. Dropping her mental barriers, she did a quick thought scan of the area, there were two people outside. The White Foxglove and Launa. They shouldn't be a problem. Raising her barriers again, she walked out, her cloak and hood pulled tight around her.

Explanation of the mental barriers thing: Athena's telepathy works where she automatically receives the current thoughts of everyone within a mile of her. Her range is still expanding. This causes the problem where she receives too many thoughts, and thus results in headaches and possible unconsciousness. To avoid this, she can, one: shrink the range to something of her choice, or two: raising mental barriers to block out thoughts. Her mental barriers can be edited to only allow thoughts of a certain person. When not wishing to use her telepathy, she keeps her mental barriers on at all times.

Kendo's ominous whistling had stopped as had the soft thud of his footsteps. A light crackling sound, like an open wire, echoed across the empty, labyrinthine halls of the lab. A blue glow lit up the walls, as the crackling got louder. Suddenly, the loudspeakers turned on with a crackle and some white noise. Kendo tapped the mic he had attached the speaker system to.

"Testing, Testing... can you all hear me? Good! Get the hell out of the lab, please. This is not where you belong. I'll give you a full 15 minutes to leave, and then I burn this place to the ground, starting... now. 15 minutes~"

Now that was unexpected. Was he really going to burn the place down? That was a bit sudden, wasn't it? Then again, what about Kendo was not sudden? Athena did not have to worry about his threat, she was at the exit/entrance already.

"Okay, rude. I bet this ain't even his place." Fuji rolled his eyes, waving to Launa. "See you around, weirdo." He huffed, fog swishing out of his mask. He slowly made his way to the exit / entrance, hands in pants-pocket and not really bothering about the other people that were already there.

Luce raised an EM barrier as she usually did when Athena was present. Her thoughts were... not anyone else's business. And she intended it to keep it that way.

"Athena..." She called out to the seemingly empty hall, gazing into the entrance. "I know you're there just as much as you know I'm here... Don't you want to come out and say hi to your old friend Compass?"

All of her best schemes had involved the young telepath... the idiot guards literally stood no chance against the combination of their powers. She had assuredly gotten the tape as well...

Athena walked back in, this time making herself visable. "Did you really think I was just going to leave without saying hi? But unless you want to blow up with this place, I would suggest talking outside. Also, the EM barrier isn't necessary. How many times do I have to tell you I keep my mental barriers up?"

These days, he seems to have been visiting this lab more often, and staying locked up in his room all other times."
