Hestia shape-shifted into a Fox, which was a sacred animal to fire and hearths. Most of the time, the guards never noticed a small fox leaving Olympus.

Their act was complete and it was time to leave. After all those millennia. With a quick blessing and word of goodbye, Athena flew out the window and towards the edge of Olympus.

Hestia slyly snuck around the guards, hoping that they were thick-headed enough to not look below them. She beckoned over to Hermes and Athena, beckoning the bridge in front of them.

Athena flew over the guards, careful to mask her aura by flying between trees. She nodded at Hestia and headed towards the bridge.

Hecate was frustrated, not only had she been getting weaker by the day, Zeus wouldn’t even let the gods interact with mortals. They needed another change. These days they were obsessed with “internet” no mortal would understand the annoyance of existing but not at the same time. The Gods were forgotten but once in a while 1 or 2 mortals would believe in the gods. Making them stable for 100 years or so. Not a long time to the Gods but still enough for us to be on the brink of disappearance. Hecate wanted to help, but she couldnt think of a way to get past the Guards. It was annoying that her magical aura was stronger than other Gods, she was Goddess of magic after all. Finally, Hecate decided to visit Athena, she knew that Athena wanted to be free of Olympus as much as she did. She could use some wisdom of hers. So Hecate set her path to Athena’s palace, her black cat walking at her side. Upon reaching Athena’s palace, she found it empty. Not knowing what to do, Hecate sighed…

Hermes could hear Hecate's thoughts, loud and clear. His whole thing was trickery, and as more and more mortals fell under his domain, his powers had grown exponentially, to the point where he could control and warp the mental state of anyone he chose. He had never been much of a hands-on fighter, after all. He snickered. He had never been much a fan of Hecate, though he knew Athena enjoyed her presence.

Suddenly, bells rang, their sound vibrating throughout Mount Olympus. The little escape group had been spotted! Or at least detected. The guards may have been rusty, but they were still able to detect escaping Olympians.

Athena mentally cursed herself. She should have known that their combined aura would be enough to tip the guards off. Especially Hermes, his aura was stronger than ever before.

Hecate heard the bells. She cursed and flew as fast as she could to where she could sense the magic the strongest. Of course, Athena, Hermes and Hestia decided to slip out. Hecate silently muttered a spell to cast a veil over the magic aura, hoping it was strong enough to mask their aura. Hecate wasn’t sure about her magic the way she did a millennia ago. But with luck, Athena and the other two Gods could escape.

Hermes grinned, his eyes lighting up in excitement.

"Finally! A chance to test my new powers!"

Then he noticed Hecate.

"Ah, it's Hecate. She sure got over here quick."

Nodding a quick thanks at Hecate, Athena decapitated the first few guards. They would be fine, they were immortal after all. Hecate's magic seemed to have hidden most of their auras. The guards were confused, but they still knew there were gods making an escape. Zeus himself was probably heading over right now.

Hecate could sense her magic veil failing, God knows she needs practice. She locked eyes with Hermes and knew he was going to use his trickery to get past the Guards. Hecate turned herself into her sacred animal, a black Labrador, and crept behind Hestia, the fox

The thunder startled Hecate. Zeus knew they were sneaking out. She had to calm Zeus, after all Zeus liked Hecate. She turned back into herself. Trusting the trio to go to the mortal world. And flew to the Parthenon.

Hermes was laughing, amused by this whole situation. His father's will didn't mean much to him. After all, Zeus' power had decreased greatly, and his mental barriers had fallen. Just one mind wipe and everything would be forgotten.

Athena wouldn't really be in trouble if Zeus caught her. She was his favorite child after all. But it would mean they would have to wait a long long time before having a chance to sneak out again. And they didn't have that long. They had to make it.

Hecate strolled to the throne room, casting a quick spell, she’ll try her best to let the others escape quickly. She muttered a quick barrier spell over the entrance as she went. If Zeus went storming out, at least he will be delayed.
Hecate tried to do a quick telepathic warning to Athena to get her to hurry up. She had tried her best, she was exhausted and nearly fainted…

"Hermes!" While he was helping with their breakout, this was not acceptable. Wounding the guards physically was one thing, altering their minds was another. "Do you realize that you are seriously hurting them!?"
