Theo groaned, shutting his notebook. He never really saw what he was sketching, but he knew what it was. He's most likely training, but do I want to go see him? It would feel kind of awkward. Should I atleast admit to something?

Luminia read about fox sages, stoping at the section about Kiriki. She was pretty sure that was what the strange girl had said when she ran. The book wasn’t particularly detailed, but it was enough for her to learn that Kiriki was a powerful fox sage with the ability to heal. The description matched the girl she had met, which probably meant she was Kiriki! Now that was interesting l she hadn’t met a fox sage yet. She decided that she would go looking for the fox sage tomorrow.

Ivy found herself face to face with Sobble in the halls. She had just finished her meeting with Kendo. No one knew what they had talked about. Although, Theo probably would by the end of the day.

"Thanks for waiting for me, Sobble~" she said. "Shall we prepare for this mysterious tournament? I want to crush some the hopes and dreams of my fellow students~ I mean, get a reeeally good rank!"

The entire exchange took less than ten seconds. "Oh and Sobble,~" Ivy started. "I need to duel Kendo at some point before tomorrow~ shall we go bother him some more?"

I want to meet new people too~, Ivy thought to herself. Maybe they've already found Kendo and Theo... that's what every new student seems to start with!

Already, Luminia was starting to make her move. Some jealous girls had tried to trip her and… it had not ended well for them. Sadly, that had just drawn more attention to herself. She heard whispers in the halls about a certain tournament and ranks, no idea what those were though. Then, a particular face stood out among the crowd, a tall boy with brown hair that had red streaks. He was looking at her with an expression different from the rest. Everyone else looked at her with awe, maybe even a little fear, but this boy acted like he met people like her everyday.

Kendo just stuffed his hands in his pockets, walking through the halls. He could hear the whispers. Especially from a certain group ~~definitly not a fan club noooo~~ As he walked, he accidently bumped into Luminia. "Ah! Sorry. Y'alright?"

Ivy skipped through the halls. Three girls lay in a heap in a corner, groaning in pain. They looked to be the typical malicious popular-girl type. Ivy hated them instantly~

"What happened here, hmm~?" She asked.

They responded with unintelligible griping. Ivy thought she could make out 'When I get my hands on that little blonde first-year, she's dead,' but it was probably just her imagination.

"Oh~ it looks like you messed with the wrong person... such a tragic lesson, but one that frequently needs to be learned! And it wasn't even me! Kendo will be so proud that I'm staying out of trouble~" Ivy wanted to meet whoever did this and shake their hand. She was so proud. Such a service to society.

She saw Kendo jostle a first year girl in the hallway ahead of her. Target acquired!

It was never meant to be.

“Yes, I’m fine. How about you?” Luminia was intrigued by the boy she had bumped into. Normally people would have run away screaming by now, especially after what happened. She suddenly recognized him as one of the boys in the library, but she decided not to bring that up.
