Gen 7, because it was the last generation where you could obtain
every Pokémon, and it was also the only generation where you didn’t
need HMs and all of the TM moves were infinitely reusable. Also,
the Ultra Wormhole was awesome. And the Alola games had such a
fresh formula, and the only thing that went wrong with them was the
decision to disallow Mythicals on the GTS.
I want to say Gen 2 because of nostalgia, but honestly Gen 5! It
got a lot of undeserved hate initially but looking back I remember
having the most fun playing BW. It felt like there was so much
additional side stuff to do (something I really liked about Gen 2
too), everything looked great, the music is so memorable, and I
can't think of many Pokemon I didn't like from that generation.
Just talking about it makes me want to play it again!
Please train my little fellas, it's much appreciated <3!
Gen 1, mainly because it was the first pokemon show I ever watched,
but if I had to choose one, I would pick Gen 5. Since it was the
first time I ever played a pokemon game on my own device.

oo thats a tricky one !!
from games and nostalgia from it being my first pokemon game was
gen 3 Hoenn!
though from actual place? gen 8 - it might not be everyones
favorite game but the place just reminded me of home! it looks so
cozy!
gen 4, HGSS look absolutely stunning and it's probably one of the
better remakes, and diamond was my first game so i'm kinda biased.
not only that, DPPT have cynthia, need i say more
