"Alright, let's continue." Jackie said. Lottie nodded. The trio walked and walked, and eventually they came across a huge hole, that led down further into a cave. "A hole?" Jackie said. "It's huge..." Lottie said. Soon, Jackie felt a drop of water on her head. She touched her head to see the liquid. It wasn't water..it was blood?! From above??? Jackie looked up to see a girl, hanging upsidedown from one leg, and her hands reaching out to the girls below her. If the rope was cut, she would fall into the hole and die. "Help me!!! Please, I'm getting dizzy...I can feel blood rushing through my head...and I bleeding?..." She said. Yes, she was bleeding, a scar on her eye. Lottie gasped in horror at the sight. How could they help her?!

DD was the fastest. She quickly summoned her other chess pieces. "Ladder formation!" The now humanoid figures moved into formation and DD climbed up the 'ladder', which allowed her to be next to the upsidedown girl's hooked leg. With the help of a couple of her servants and her gunsen, the girl was cut free and kept from falling to her death. DD carefully moved down the ladder with the injured girl in her arms and made it to the ground safely. She set the girl down carefully and immediately began to check on the girl for injuries.

The girl was shaking, trembling in fear. "T-T-Thank you so much..." She said. Jackie and Lottie frowned. Jackie looked at the hole...

DD nodded and also frowned at the hole. She ordered her servants to disassemble the ladder and await further command. She got a handkerchief from one of the butlers to gently wipe away the blood on the girl.

Jackie sighed. "Should we go down or keep going and avoid the hole?" Jackie said, but as soon as she turned to the others, a monster grabbed Jackie by her shoulders and flew her into the air. Lottie gasped in horror. Alexandria was shocked.

DD's head whipped up to follow Jackie being carried by one of the monsters. In a flash, she separated one of the blades of her gunsen from the whole and shot it at the monster, getting a direct hit to its eye.

The monster screeched in pain, but didn't let go of Jackie. Jackie grabbed the monster by its claws, and threw it back down into the hole, shooting it a few times, and into the heart. Jackie safely jumped back down on the ground, away from the hole.

DD sighed. There went one of her gunsen blades... Oh well. She glanced at the hole with a frown and shook her head. "It may be best to stay on this level for the time being." She eventually said.

Jackie frowned. "Yeah...that's a better idea..." Jackie said. Lottie felt nervous. She held DD'S hand, not noticing herself doing so. Alexandria walked with the three girls.

DD raised an eyebrow at the sudden handholding from Lottie, but she didn't shake it off. The poor girl was terrified and seemed comforted by DD's presence. She recalled her servants to chess form except two knights and the group continued into the cavernous terrain.

"Miss, what is your name?" Jackie said to the girl that was hanged earlier. "A... Alexandria... Alexandria Cosmo...." She said. "Well, I'm Jackie Ness, That's Lottie Rosetta, and that's DD. You still look dizzy...here, I'll carry you on my back." Jackie said and gently lifted the girl up, and carried her on her back. "Thank you..." Alexandria mumbled.

The group began to trek past the hole and deeper into the caves. DD allowed Lottie to continue holding her hand as she saw it as a way to not only calm the scared girl, it helped ground herself, to keep her from simply... Offing her allies for fun...

The girls walked around, and came across a medium sized hole that flashed sunlight through it. But, it was too high up, and the group couldn't reach it... Jackie frowned. "It looks too high...I don't think we can escape over there. And I don't think we can fit through the hole..." Jackie said. Alexandria's eyes widened. "M...Miss Jackie....b-beside you...." She said. Jackie turned to her right side and saw one monster. "Ugh, you gotta be kidding!!!" Jackie said angrily. She told DD to grab Alexandria and Lottie and lead them away from the monster. Jackie pulled out her gun again and started shooting. This time the monster took one shot on its arm and grabbed the other bullet with it's mouth and spit it out. Jackie's eyes widened. She also realized she ran out of ammo...the monster tackled Jackie, trying to bite her neck. Jackie struggle to get the monster off of her. But then, a boy jumped on top of the monster and pulled out a metal spear and stabbed the monster's heart in front of Jackie. He pushed the monster off of Jackie with force. He then dusted himself off and helped Jackie up. "Are you alright, Ma'am?" The boy said. Jackie looked at the boy in his eyes for a few moments then nodded. "Yes, im fine. Thank you, Sir." Jackie said and grabbed the boy's hand so she could get back up.

DD responded almost on instinct; pulling both Alexandria and Lottie backwards away from the monster. She was surprised when a new figure made an appearance and took out the monster. Who was this boy? How many other players of this twisted game were there??

"Are you hurt? Did you get bit??" The boy said. Jackie blushed a little. "N-No, don't worry sir, I'm fine. May I ask for your name please?" Jackie said. "J-Jeremiah Kolenm." The boy said. Jackie smiled. "Thank you for saving me. The girls behind me are Alexandria, Lottie and DD. And I'm Jackie." She said. Jeremiah nodded.

DD noticed the two blushing and had to hold back a grimace or an 'ick' face. Love was a weird concept to her, even before becoming who she was now. "Who would love a monster like me anyway?..." was always her first thought when it came to feeling 'love'. Instead she nodded in acknowledgement at the boy, now identified as Jeremiah.

Lottie hid behind DD, moving behind her slowly. She didn't trust the boy for some reason...maybe she was still scared. The group continued to wander into the cave, trying to possibly find more people or escape.

DD did her best to seem unaffected by the situation and current clingy ally, but deep down she was...well, angry. Angry at the one who had taken her and these other people... Angry at her guards for failing to protect her from said kidnapper... Angry at herself for failing to save herself... But she refused to let it show. She maintained her neutral expression as the group went further into the dark cavern.

Jackie was walking until she almost tripped into a hole of fire??? She quickly stumbled backwards, but she heard the screams of two people. A boy and a girl. "Help!!! Help us please!! Get us out of here!!!" The girl cried out. Jackie looked at Jeremiah. Jeremiah understood and nodded. The two jumped in the hole... Lottie and Alexandria were shocked.

DD's jaw dropped. Did those two have a death wish?! She ran and stopped just at the edge of the hole and watched from her vantage point.
