The group would find themselves in a small, peaceful town, with not
a lot of activity going on at this time of day aside from Pachirisu
scurrying across the roads, the songs of various bird Pokémon, and
maybe one or two young children playing with their family pets
while pretending to be Pokémon trainers. Over on a hill sat a white
building that seemed rather large and out-of-place compared to the
rest of the town. In front of the building was a big tree with a
few bird feeders hanging from its branches, as well as a sign where
a Fletchling and a pair of Fletchinder had decided to perch
atop.
Drogo proceeded to explain everything to Aurode and Alan
"So you're saying these weird crystals transform people into
powerful hybrid like things?" Aurode asked Nicole, holding out her
burst crystal; a dark blue that reminded her of her alien planet
home and shining in the colours of the rainbow. "Come to think of
it, I seem to have one of those too."
"So do I.." Ludivine also mentioned, looking at where her
Miraculous would be. It was replaced by a burst crystal attached to
a choker necklace
"rip them off?" Alan suggested, before being slapped by his younger
sister. "What? It works okay?"
"The reason I'm in charge of everything." Aurode answered, spinning
her survival knife around her fingers.
Alphaa looked at where the wolf miraculous would be. "If ladybug
finds out this happened..." The Kwami muttered. "She would take it
away from you! I don't want that!"
"So... what are these strange lifeforms? Are they native
inhabitants of this odd land?" Susie asks. Genesect seems confused
as to what she's talking about.
Alan pulled out the three Pokeballs he had no idea how to activate
"and why do people carry these weird balls around?" He asked. "Why
didn't I get the cool crystal like my sister? Why does she get all
the good stuff?"
Nicole had taken out Rowlet's Poké Ball and had called back her
partner to demonstrate. "These... These are Poké Balls! Trainers
use them to capture wild Pokémon. And if you have a Pokémon inside
one already..." She added, throwing the Poké Ball to call out
Rowlet again, "You can just throw it to let the Pokémon out!"
Alan picked up the capsules and threw them as if they were floaters
about to cause chaos. A fox, ice bug thing, and a grey fluffy cat
like thing appeared, and they all stared at Alan, especially the
Eevee who literally glared at him.
Alan seemed annoyed at his new companions. "Why couldn't I get the
cool crystals like my sister?" He asked, while Aurode chuckled
behind him.
Mustard shrugged at Alan, then threw the capsules she had,
revealing two dogs (one of which seemed to be... a painter?), a
badger, and an orange lizard thing
Aurode crouched down at the fox and gently stroked it's head. "aww
aren't you cute." she whispered, watching the fox nuzzle against
her hand. On 4546b, there wasn't alot of fuzzy creatures that liked
to be pet. Maybe with the exception of Baby snowstalkers, but by
then you're risking your life for it.
Alan tried to do the same, only for the Fox to hiss at him and bite
his hand. "*angry Eevee noises*"
"I can't wait to see this professor..." Ludivine muttered, watching
her Kwami float around. "Do you think the Miraculous still
works?"
"It better be." Alphaa answered. "If I'm here, it must be still
working."
The lab was relatively tidy except for some feathers on the floor,
and there were rather large machines containing Pokémon eggs, which
were presumably incubators, that had name tags on them labeled
either "ROWLET", "TORCHIC", or "PIPLUP"
While the professor herself wasn't in the room at the moment, there
were a few assistants there (who were either looking at data or
monitoring the eggs
Celeste was interested in the eggs, which were quite big for her.
She attempted multiple times to reach them, but in the end she gave
up
Aurode, Drogo, and Alan were interested in the machines that held
the eggs. Abyss came along and helped Celeste up so the little bug
could see the eggs too.
Alphaa was playing with the feathers on the floor, while Ludivine
watched.
One assistant had noticed the group and told them that the
professor will be out shortly, before returning to whatever he was
doing before.
Another assistant, who was monitoring the eggs, had went over to
the group. "I see you're interested in our incubators, yes?" she
asked. "The incubators help us hatch those Pokémon eggs so we can
give them to trainers starting on their Pokémon journey. It's not
that efficient for us to walk halfway across Akarinet or run laps
around Windwick to hatch the eggs when we're in the lab for most of
the day, so we have these machines to help hatch the eggs
instead."
As the assistant was saying that, one of the eggs Celeste was
looking at had begun cracking. "Looks like one of them is about to
hatch!"
