before it gets too dark if you aren’t already...]
Charles walked around the plaza for a bit, but he had no matter. Looking at his watch, he saw menacing numbers. 6:21. Time really was slipping away here... He decided, even if he wasn’t going to sleep, it was best to head to his room. Entering the elevator, he was greeted by an angel, it seemed. Frightened by the divine-like stranger, he backed into the corner of the elevator and tried not to make a sound, lest he die that day. The angel looked at him.
“What floor you on?”
Charles shuddered a bit, but he knew it would be rude not to answer.
“5th floor.”
The angel nodded, pressing the 5th and the 7th button. As the angel walked away just in case others came (which he found unlikely, it seemed), a certian row of numbers caught his attention. B1, B2, B3, B4. There were bottom levels? He then looked at a card scanner just by it. Must’ve been an ID verifier, because credit cards, at least from his world, weren’t quite that advanced. Perplexed, he walked out of the elevator and went to his room.
Pit waited a bit longer after helping the headphone-bearing stranger, and finally arrived at Floor 7. He layer down in his bed, and what felt like an instant, fell into a slumber...
Ralsei sat down in his room. It was quite comfy, so he slowly fell asleep under his sheets. He smiled. This was relaxing.

"Some water?" Alaparos offered, holding out a water bottle from his wheelchair to the young boy. He refused, straw hair shaking furiously enough for him to be slightly worried. But a amused smile crossed over Alaparos' face anyways as he put the water back. The rest of the ride was spent in silence as the two men kept to themselves, only a hasty goodbye said between them when the elevator reached the fourth floor. By the time he reached his destination, Alaparos was still wide awake. It was unfortunately the nature of underworld creatures such as himself to be used to the endless nights, riding with this masters under the cloak of darkness. For him, darkness was daylight and daytime was night. Or maybe not, daylight was rare in the Underworld after all and the only times that happened it meant that Athena (and how he hated that name, millennia later still evoking the same ugly roll of acrid emotions) had broken through. So perhaps it would just be better to say that he was accustomed to the gloomy realms he called home. Rolling down the hallways, arms burning with exertion of having to push himself everywhere, Alaparos locked the door behind him letting out a sigh of relief.
With prying eyes out of the way, he cautiously stood up from his wheelchair, hissing at the pain from underused legs, letting himself fall forward with a muted thump. It was almost like molting, clothes and humanoid features cracking away as Alaparos wriggled out of the stifling confines of his human appearance as he settled into his more preferred form. What could only be described as a content trill bounced across the room as Alaparos finally stretched his whole body out working out the kinks and aches in them. Carefully folding up his wheelchair and setting it aside, Alaparos curled up in a makeshift nest that he had constructed for himself, pleased to just be in his most comfortable form for now.

something... odd...
Wake up. Time to get to work.]
Pit flew straight out of bed, so quickly he almost crashed through the wall. He stopped himself and began to think. Mario? It couldn’t be. He dissapeared what seemed to be ages ago; it seemed impossible for him to even be in his head normally, let alone talk to him... This couldn’t have been just a strange dream- some of it had to be a message. He was used to this- his other team members back at home were used to this. A message from somebody in the form of a dream. He got up and went straight for the elevator.
Ralsei couldn’t believe what he had seen. He had never seen such a person before... And the fire around them seemed painful... He stood up and went to go to the plaza.
Charles looked around. Nobody was nearby, other than his mini chopper. He grabbed the possible choking hazard and looked at his watch for a second. 1:29. Time does really fly by when you’re asleep. He walked over to the elevator, only to be greeted by a familiar face. The angel. Surely this time he was going to die. He cowered in the corner.
“You good? Something- happen in those few hours?” The angel inquired. Charles didnt know what to say, but one thing came to mind.
”You saw it too, didn’t you?”
