Probably a Studio Ghibli movie (I'm guessing either Ponyo or My
Neighbor Totoro), but if we're talking as in a TV series, then
Pokémon (both the Diamond and Pearl anime and the Black and White
anime)
My first anime ever was arguably Pokemon (although, I don't know if
Pokemon counts as an anime or not)
If it doesn't, my first anime ever was Toradora! It's nothing
special, but it was pretty cute, and it's still got a place in my
heart.

As a kid my first anime was either Pokemon or Hamtaro. When I got
older the first anime I really liked was Blue Exorcist. It got me
into watching anime a lot more.

i wached pokemon first, then digimon before i actually knew what
anime was, then when i did, the first one i watched was my hero

"The phrase “it’s just a

happened, losing, imperfection of a craft. When you

As much as I hate to admit it... mine was one called Kämpfer
(that's the English title, actually) and it was a rather... ehhh,
adult-oriented one? (It wasn't bad just... wish my first anime was
a lil' better).
I’m pretty sure it was Pokémon as it aired on Saturday mornings,
and then Digimon. I don’t think I was hooked though until 2004 when
I met some friends at my HS who were into anime and shared the live
action Sailor Moon (PGSM). But even then it was more manga until
2007 when I volunteered at AnimeFest and the following year in
college that I found sites that I could watch anime on.
Now I reserve Sundays for Crunchyroll watching <3
