Faren noticed Kari flinch, so he decided to change the topic. " So,
anyways, I've been wondering. Ultra Necrozma is supposed to be a
stronger version of necrozma, right? Do you prefer being in this
form, or did you prefer the way it used to be? If this is a
sensitive topic, then you don't have to answer." Faren asked Kari.
My favorite pokemon: The superior cactus pokemon to Cacturne.
"W-well, I don't actually remember being in any other form... so I
suppose this one is fine," they answered, racking their brain for
memories they could not find.
"Alright, let's get started with our journey!" Faren said, standing
up on the hill, only to sit back down and think about what to do
next. "I guess the next logical thing to do would be to start
training." Faren sat back, questioning himself on what to do. As he
did this, he looked around the area, observing what was around.

In the amount of time from this RP's start to now, Kari's been
through a LOT of changes. I settled on my writing style for them,
invested a lot of time into a very specific RP with them in it, and
have since retired their old design, personality, and species in
favor of radically different ones. They're not even a Pokemon OC
anymore. But yet, they're still my favorite and I only have this RP
to thank.
Here's their designs, in case you were curious. (Credit to my good
friend saka)
I don't think I'm open to resuming progress on this RP, but I'd
like to know where the story was going to go. And, thank you for
starting this. I couldn't imagine not having Kari, and I only have
them because of this.)
How the story came to be: Honestly I don't know. My idea came from
reading a ton of Betrayed Ash stories and remembering the Mewtwo
Origin. I wanted it to be a progressive story where characters were
flushed out through it and eventually there would be a battle or
confrontation of some sort between the experiments and the creating
scientists. Where the Pokemon could decide either A)take revenge,
and either 1)feel peace or 2)feel regret, or B)decide to forgive
their creator and learn to move on from their trauma. I hadn't
fully fleshed out the story. I had an idea and wanted to extend it
beyond what I had with more people. As it got attention and
participants, I thought I'd be able to make something
extraordinary, but as fewer people responded to the prompts, I
realize it wasn't as special as I had thought initially. I wanted
it to continue for a long time, so I kept making prompts, hoping
people would return, but they didn't, either out of disinterest or
not subscribing. I may try to continue this, but I feel it will die
without a strong conclusion. Every good thing must come to an end
eventually.
Thank you, everyone, for giving me a chance to bring something like
this to life.
