Almost a year since the final events of the Sequel, the threats revealed are long gone. Misty had been defeated, and was currently in Azkaban, facing the sentence to her deeds. Suvansh and the others were successful in reviving Samton's Patronus, but the scars were so fresh and the memory was so tolling on him, that he had to be sent to St. Mungo's.

It is 31 August 2021. As the clock ticks, students, along with parents, or guardians start trickling into the shady bar of the Leaky Cauldron. Wizards tap at the brick walls while the muggle-borns gape at how the bricks which were stationary just now, shifted from their positions to reveal the bright passageway of the Diagon Alley.

Suvansh wakes up, without a yawn. The seventh time, still the excitement of the first. He got ready quickly, and goes over to his parents, just stirring up from sleep. Rohit, his younger brother was also as ready as he was, and after breakfast, they set out for shopping for the school supplies for the year.

The date was circled in red on Jules' calenders. Bolded, underlined, and highlighted. September 1st. But today wasn't that day, but it would be in a month and that knowlage was enough for Jules to wake up with a flutter in his chest. Just like last year, he would be taking 10 classes, all of them useless towards his intended path as a humble entertainer. No one believed that when he told them of course, not the first son of the nobel Hadrian family decendeds of Lord Salazar himself, be found doing a street act. Of course not, that's why his official documents had Auror listed on his desired parth for work.
Cracking his back with a lazy hum, Jules took what little belongings he had and snuck out of the family home, making his way down to Diagon Alley. Soon he'd be free to wander the world as he pleased, he hummed to himself keeping close to the shadows. Soon he could just be another nameless face in the crowds

Being a half-blood, the days before going to Hogwarts were rather mixed for Alison. While her mother was simply overjoyed that she had been accepted, it was harder for her father to understand. How did Alison herself feel? She wasn't telling anyone that, of course. Unless she wanted to. Then, she would most defiently make it clear. But, since she didn't, she simply followed her mother queitly, watching evreything with her bright, alert eyes. Going into the Leaky Cauldron made her a bit more alert, as she could tell that this wasn't a absoulutely respectable bar, but didn't say anything. When her mother exiteted the bar and into the small alley, where she drew her wand, tapping the brick as the door opened, Alison remarked, "This is a rather outstanding form of security, though I do wonder how the bricks would hold up." Her mother smiled nervously, unsure how to answer yet another of her daughter's odd and sudden statements. "Err, I don't suppose I know, darling." Alison turned her attention to Diagon Alley, simply quietly observing.

Anthony slowly slipped out of his bed, his bare feet thudding against the ground as he moved over to his closet, sliding on a green turtleneck and blue jeans. His morning routine didn't change much, even on a day like this. He'd gone to Diagon Alley 2 times, soon to be a third and still it remained mostly the same. Slipping on some shoes, the boy tromped down the stairs, ducking into the kitchen. His parents were already sitting at the table he noted, grabbing a quick breakfast. Anthony quickly looked down at the ground as his father momentarily looked at him. "You ready to go?" He heard his father ask, and Anthony nodded.

The three exited the home, making their way to the Leaky Cauldron. He hadn't heard from Holly in a long while. He still held onto to the foolish hope that he'd get a letter from her. He held back a pitying chuckle, picking at his palm. He had barely realised they had entered Diagon Alley when he heard the shifting bricks. He just wanted to finish this as quickly as possible.

Brooke had managed to convince her parents to stay behind this year, leaving her to traverse Diagon Alley herself. She felt the familiar jittery feeling in her guts, and she had to resist the urge to just run around and look at everything. 6 years hadn't been enough to keep her interest apparently. She could see any students that would be attending Hogwarts this year, either buying robes or just being smaller than the adults around them. She felt a bright smile come to her lips.

Once at the Leaky Cauldron, without any hesitation, they went to the back of the building, where Suvansh stands with his wand, and gently taps the bricks, as he had seen his father do 6 times before. He was finally seventeen and was thus allowed to do magic outside school. Though her mother was a muggle, she was quite used to the musings of the wizarding world by now.
Once in the alley, Suvansh takes out his to-do list, even though he remembered it word to word.
The platinum cauldron, for the advanced potions and alchemy, various books, and the newest and fastest broom available, the Cosmos.
He was particularly excited about the new broom. Being his final year at Hogwarts, and been chosen the head boy, they were more than happy to give him a handsome gift before he's off to school.
Just as he turned bout the corner, he spotted Jules, his friend, and a fellow head boy from Hufflepuff. He started walking towards him, expecting a conversation.

'Ri, her mother behind her, walked into the Leaky Cauldron once more, excited as always by the entire experience of heading off to Hogwarts, even the shopping bit, which her mum really wasn't a fan of. Wearing a pale yellow spaghetti strap crop top (x), navy jean shorts, and white laceless sneakers, the Muggle-born witch slipped through the crowd, her steps springy and lively. From the silver chained smooth white handbag with a single small yellow butterfly on the flap that she carried she pulled the letter containing her new packing list for her fifth year, mentally plotting the course she ought to take through the large shopping area. Same basic equipment, with two new books, those being The Standard Book of Spells, Grade 5, by Miranda Goshawk and Defensive Magical Theory, by Wilbert Slinkhard. However, in small text at the bottom, she'd scribbled a reminder to herself to pick up A Guide to Advanced Transfiguration, by Emeric Switch. Typically a book for Sixth Years, a friend of hers had mentioned it to her, and naturally, she was quite interested.
Her mother tapped her on the shoulder, saying nothing but nodding to the bar. A quiet woman of few words, this was often the case. 'Ri just nodded, shrugging it off and continuing onwards, stopping every couple of feet to speak to someone or another. Some of these people were friends who she recognized or called out to her, others were just strangers who had a particular clothing article, hair style, makeup style, etc. that she wished to compliment. However, despite this mass reunion with the other occupants of her favorite place on Earth, a small sense of foreboding nestled in her stomach. She did love Hogwarts, she really did; the castle was stunning, the magically enhanced interior was gorgeous, like something out of a fantasy. But her mind was telling her that she was setting herself up for failure once more, for yet another year of all-nighters and panic attacks.
Quote“Cause You make mountains move,
You make giants fall.
You use songs of praise, to shake prison walls.
And I will speak to my fear, I will preach to my doubt;
You were faithful then, You'll be faithful now."

"Hocus pocus" he snickered to himself, tapping his wand on the brick wall. It felt good to finally do his shopping by himself that year. No nagging parents criticising his class choices, no overbearing aunt's and grandfather's lecturing on the priority of how a Hadrian heir should act, it was almost fun. Browsing his own list of textbooks to procure, he nodded to himself and began to walk only to catch a glimpse of a familiar head of black. Suvansh, if he remembered correctly and a fellow head boy. Tucking away his books list he smiled at the approaching boy a greeting on his lips. "Hello there, fancy seeing you here." He started out once they had gotten close enough. "I reckon that your summer was pleasant enough?"

"Hey" Suvansh smiled back and said, "Pleasant it was. Hope so for you too!" His face toughened slightly. "Were your relatives-?" He thought the question was obvious enough so he trailed off. He started fidgeting with his wand like he did when he anticipated an answer.

Being a second year didn't mean Aria was allowed to go to diagon alley herself. She was still forced to walk among the crowd alongside her parents. Her first year at Hogwarts was a blur, and she was excited to make some new friends for once. More importantly she had dreams to meet cool creatures..

Recovering quickly from Alison's abrupt observation, as her mother had learned over the years to do, she shook her head and smiled. "Come on, shopping for Hogwarts was always so much fun, and you get to do it for the first time!" Allison did not say anything, and simply sped up to follow her mother. She had taken out Alison's list of required books and items, musing over it while occasionally saying something like, "That was the worst textbook to carry around," and "I think I still have that one tucked away somewhere." Alison said alound, "Mother, you're behaving as if you were still a student. I feel that you should be focusing on assisting me in collecting supplies for my first year at Hogwarts." Her mother laughed nervously. "Sorry dear, sorry. Looks like our first stop is Flourish and Botts, no?"

There was a short bark of laughter and a wave of the hand as Jules deflected any of the worries and concerns. "Oh no, it certainly is nothing new. Just the usual "you should work as an Unspeakable rather than a Auror" sort of speech. Really, my family is quite good to me." He assured. Sure his family was pushy and unpleasant, expecting him to go beyond their expectations hence the veritable overload of courses he would be taking, but he loved them anyways. They were family after all.
"Now enough about me. I suppose you're here to pick up your materials for the year, yes? Would you like to do that together?" He offered, drawing the conversation away from himself

The only Lestrange descendant rapped her wand on the brick, opening up to Daigon Alley. She scoffed, as several adults, no less, squealed and ran out of the way. She entered Flourish and Blotts, intending to buy her new defense against the dark arts book. The rest were already neatly packed into her trunk. As she entered the shop, she noticed another girl inside. She smiled, recognizing it to be a Hogwarts student. She browsed the shelves, eventually finding the book. Tucking her red wavy hair behind her ear, she picked up the book, before taking out her bag of Galleons, which she inherited from her Aunt Bellatrix

Suvansh gave another nervous laugh and said "Sure, let's go."
Knowing Jules was getting quite uncomfortable, Suvansh decided to change the topic. "So what subjects did you choose for your N.E.W.T.s?"

Aria had let her hands open the list of things she needed this year. There were lots of books. Not a surprise to her but gosh, were there a lot of lockhart books? She was surprised and Maybe a bit 'meh' to read things by the same author, but she would still take her favourite book with her.

Samton walked into Diagon Alley. He had overslept, and wasn't too happy about it. He was intending to come first thing in the morning and make off with purchases right before the crowd came.
"Seriously I should tame myself a chicken;" Samton said to himself as he started for Gringotts.

Walking in he went to one of the clerks and handed them a key. "Mr. RedRose. Glad to see you're doing well." "Same, Mr. Blin. Shall we?"
"Yes. Follow me"

Samton felt at ease. The Blin family were close friends to the RedRoses from since before he was born, and Mr. Go Blin was pretty close to him, at least, in comparison to most others.

"Charms, obviously. But also Arithmancy, Defense against the dark arts, Transfiguration, Herbology, and Study if Ancient Runes. I'm contemplating on Potions as I had barely passed my O.W.L for that but would be quite alluring as an aspiring Auror, and perhaps taking one for Care of Magical Creatures too. That last one would surely make my parents blood boil." He snickered, opening up the door to Flourish and Botts. It was small petty things that Jules took pleasure in, small actions just to stir up trouble. "And you? I assume you'll be taking Charms as well."

Alison's mother walked amoung the shelves, occaisonally pulling books off of them, and checking the list and the bag of coins at her side. Alison said nothing for the most part, watching the other customers as her mother dragged her along. Honestly, it seemed as if she had more enthusiasam about it then Allison did, despite her major curiousites about Hogwarts. She saw there was another girl here, who looked as if she was preparing for a year at Hogwarts as well. Alison's gears were grinding as she made note of her, stashing it away with all of her other observations of the customers of Flourish and Botts. The sounds of the door opening made her head turn like her nickname, Bunny, and slowly backing away from her mother, she peeked arond the corner, her bright eyes watching the two entering for a minute. One of Alison's favorite things was people-watching, and with her mother distracted, she could observe peacefully.

Suvansh let out a laugh too, replying "Yes I am and in fact all of those you mentioned are common, along with alchemy. I hope we get to do a lot of those classes together!" He followed Jules into Flourish and Blotts, mentally recalling his list of books...all N.E.W.T level, and some even higher. As tough as it was, he wanted to be an auror, just as he supposed Jules did. He accio-ed all the books he needed, just because he could! Now no letters and warnings would be sent over to him- he was free to use magic in daily life. This excited him a lot, and never did he think once what if a spell goes wrong, though he knew what would happen, subconsciously. He had faith in himself though, and believed in the saying, 'Practice makes a man perfect'. He finally went over and took out the new cauldron, and went over to the cashier, jingling just bag of Galleons. All this while, his parents were accompanying his brother, so he was free to do anything he wanted. He looked over at Jules to see if he was done.

What a show off, Jules thought with a snicker before proceeding to do the exact same thing. A red head girl caught his attention momentarily as he rooted around for a few supplementary charms books that Professor Flitwick had recommended him, the girl seeming familiar in an odd way. Hm, must be his imagination he supposed before turning his attention away from the Lestrange girl and back to his books. "Oh yes, before I forget, I heard you became captain of the Quidditch team along with the position of Head Boy. Congratulations, but I'm certain that Hufflepuff will take the Quidditch Cup this year." Jules idlely noted, procuring his own bag of galleons.

Growing bored with watching the same boys, Allison walked back over to her mother, who had finished and was frantically looking for her. Tapping her on the shoulder, Allison's mother nearly jumped a mile high before whipping around, realizing it was her daughter. "Don't scare me like that," she chided. "Sorry Mum," Allison said flatly. "Well, dear, it looks like you have all the books that you need. Next stop will be the Apocothery, but let's have these rung up, no?" Alison followed her mother to the front of the store, standing behind her and watching the customers come and go with interest.
