"And who's fault is that." He humphed crossing his arms to get his
point across while his wings coming to fold over his lap elegantly,
docile and trusting.
Well at least there was confirmation that the other actually was
flirting with him as he finally broke eye contact, looking anywhere
but those infuriatingly pretty eyes, wings, or well. Just about
everything that was Hawk was pretty so he averted his eyes.
"Unfortunately, your words can be quite convincing." He finally
admitted
"Now, that statement there was a blatant lie. My voice isn't that
nice." He refuted, shaking his head. He had been told that his
voice was the type of sound to just fade into the background, quite
unremarkable all things considered
“Oh, I don’t think so. It’s nice, and soft. Something I could fall
asleep to and never have nightmares with” he said “Like a pillow of
beautiful words inlayed with a tone of happiness”
"I think you're talking about your own wings there." He noted dryly
but a smile was present nonetheless. "Really, all of the qualities
you say I possess are better suited as descriptors for you
instead."
"They're soft, nice, and really quite nice to sleep on I would
venture." Raphael defended, embarrassed at his previous actions.
"But you would be right in saying that we have steered quite far
away from the original conversation." Clearing his throat, Raphael
reached up to brush the back of his hand against Hawk's forehead,
taking his temperature again. "Are you feeling better? You gave me
quite a scare back there when fever suddenly arose."
Quickly yanking his hand back, Raphael flushed heavily as his wings
began to come up and wrap around him, hiding his embarrassment.
He... really did say that didn't he. "I..." His words failed him so
he simply settled for hiding his face against his wings
Salem looked around more, eyeing the tree. Black cracks seemed to
expand out of the root and stuff, he didnt know if that should be
there. "Why does it seem like the Ground is splitting. and the
atmosphere is quiet.. heavy as well." he muttered, not that it
concerned him, he didnt mind what would happen to the angels, yet
what he did care about was his own comfort. His wings spread a
little, then he folded them again "Its like poison."
I dont think I have enough of that left" Salem sighs just a little,
the feathers on his wings ruffled all by themselves, he glanced
around "I could take some from one of the angels but that would
make them notice me" he didnt really wish to be found out, not as a
demon spy, even If the Lady, not much liked by him in the first
place, didnt really like him and thinks of him as a traitor.
Corin softly flapped his wings in his sleep, kinda pulling them
closer around his own body, he liked it warm while sleeping, that
was one of the positions he enjoyed much.
"No need to lend me any-.. If Heaven collapses it wouldnt concern
me anyways would it.?" Salem did ignore heavens fate, he was one of
the most ignorant demons that could exist, well in hell at least.
His eyes were fixed on the black cracks. "I could just return as if
nothing happened." he shrugged a little "But for now I shouldnt
stay here so long. not in one place. Its not like I dont wish to be
here. rather.. dont want to seem suspicious"
Corins eyes shortly fluttered open, he looked at him through poofed
up feathers, a blush was on his cheek, not very well hidden
"Lady Salvation would have fun with that extra work" Salem
snickered quietly "yet I can understand your point quite well. " He
nodded a little, brushing a hand through his hair, he felt his
horns slowly pointing out again. Trying to hide them quickly he
ruffled his hair over it
Corin nodded slightly "Yes I think so" he smiles, his voice still a
little tired, his hair as messy as possible, having moved quite a
lot and well.. slept
