There has been a rumor of another world, much different than the one we live in. There have been many different stories about this “other world”, some saying it’s magical and bustling with wonder, others saying it’s hell. Well... no one has ever been able to confirm these things. So, you take it upon yourself to investigate and see this other world for yourself. What you find there is well... unexpected. Talking animals, mythical creatures come to life, odd humanoid creatures, and humans that are much different than yourself await you in this mystical land. But... something seems... off. Apparently, you coming here has brought a being into this happy and peaceful world, one manifested from the strange energy you brought with you. This strange energy gave some of you the features of the mystical creatures here, but it also made an evil being bent on destroying everything here. Your job, along with the residents of this world, is to find the source and destroy it.
Note: If you choose to be someone from earth that has different features, you will have the disadvantage of the strange energy, negatively effecting your character.

Appearance: (you can even be a cat!)
A tall and lean pureblood Finnish, Ilmatar has an almost sickly frame making them look more like a patient rather than a doctor. They have long silver hair that is usually thrown over one shoulder and tied at the ends, repeatedly dyed and bleached to the point where it's kind of dead. Their yellow eyes are equally dead, holding very little life to them. They usually wear warmer clothes such as sweaters, hoodies, blankets, and leg warmers. After entering the Other World, scales have begun to form over their hands, pupils contracting into slits and teeth elongating slightly.
Personality:
As a medical professional, Ilmatar places professionalism before anything and always strives to do their best that they can in their field of work. They are snarky and cutting, never really holding back on criticism yet they give praise just as easily. Contrary to their cool faced demeanour, however, they are quite impulsive and follows their emotions to make decisions and will often take whatever route produces the fastest and most visible results that benefit them and the ones that they care about

Personality:
Alaparos is a cheerful character, always willing to help out. He is the heart of any group he finds himself in, encouraging others and generally making the mood as cheerful and upbeat as it can be. He is very protective of creatures that are smaller than him which isn't a very high bar to set as he is easily taller than most humans. But sometimes he forgets that he's pretty big so he ends up bowling others over a lot

Has sachels of survival supplies slung over his body and scars all over his flank
Alaparos specializes in defence, taking many hits if needed. Although his species is highly mobile and can avoid blows easily, he is considered quite slow, travelling about as fast as a regular human.

Personality: She’s usually quite giddy and oblivious to dark situations, always trying to lighten the mood. She isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed, but she makes up for it with great mobility and personality. She is quite friendly with humans as well.

Personality: She can be a bit skeptical and cautious at times, but otherwise she’s quite outgoing. She always follows logic and reason, and is usually quite knowledgeable.
Any other characteristics?: After entering the other world, her senses heightened quite severely and the tips of her fingers and nails grew to be claw-like, but her changes are hardly noticeable.
