Melon nodded at the Shaymin and caught the ham, taking a bite. "Hmm...not bad" she said. Her ears twitched as Jubilee and Aster came in. Aster noticed the Shaymin from before. "Oh hello, it's you again!" he said.

Jasmine smiled, "Yep, guess you have a Gengar now...wait where are Aster and Jubilee? They might've wandered off...I hope they're ok..." Panicking, she looked all around and wondered where they would be.

Melon finished the ham and stared at Aster. "Shouldn't you be with your trainer?" she asked.

Aster nodded, "And Jubilee here shouldn't have wandered off...I came with her to make sure she didn't get into trouble...we should get back now..."

Jubilee laughed, "But I was bored...and this place is cool! What are all your names? And who's that Eevee that just left?"

Melon thought for a moment. "Eevee...? Oh you mean- wait what?? When did he get here??? Uh well...I think his name is Shade. And I'm Melon! And this is Wrathüs."

"...Yeah that's enough waiting, let's go!" Aster exclaimed, dragging Jubilee out with his vines wrapped around her. Jubilee complained but let him drag her out, saying goodbye to the other Pokemon. They both found Jasmine and she scolded them for running off but then almost crushed them in a big hug. "I missed both of you...don't do that again! Jesus already left so we should get going to the hotel." They got to the hotel and Jasmine got a room and fell asleep the moment she hit the bed.

Aster and Jubilee fell asleep on the bed too, Aster's vines wrapped protectively around Jubilee.

The Shaymin had entered the deli, having brought out a half loaf of bread with a triumphant gleam in her eye. She brought it next to Melon and began munching on it contently.

Shady sat on the windowsill outside, so he could look out. “It’s not the same as the forest.” He sighed. “There were only the lights of the stars.” He said, hanging his head. “Out here you can’t see a single one.” He added, finally going back in.

The hedgehog looked up from her dinner, glancing down at the bread, then up at the fusion. "Oh, sure!" She tore off the half she hadn't bitten from and nudged it to Melon.

Melon thanked the Shaymin, smiling, and ate her bread in one bite. After a moment, she looked at the Shaymin and asked, "Hey, did you follow us here?? Or are you following the trainers too?"

"I was following the trainers. They seem...promising." Reye had just about eaten her bread fully. "Sometimes I follow humans around if I feel enough emotion in them. Perhaps I'll watch a champion be born."

Melon slowly opened her eyes. She didn't realize she fell asleep and instinctively ran out of the deli, finding a bush to hide in away from all the humans. She wasn't sure where the Shaymin went or if they were still in the deli. She thought about what the Shaymin had said. Maybe one of those trainers will be the new champion...hmm Melon thought, collecting her thoughts and trying to figure out what to do.

Jasmine woke up and stretched. She read Jesus's note. Aster fell off the bed and yelped, shaking off the mild pain and trying to be more fully awake. Jubilee woke up when she heard the loud thud and peered over the side. She looked too far over, fell, and landed on Aster's bulb. "Sorry..." she mumbled, bouncing off. Aster replied back, "It's ok...I'm just hungry..." His stomach growled.
