Shade went back to the cafè and scratched at the door
An Old Woman opened the door

Owner: "Well hello again little one..."

Shade wags his tail

Owner: "We have no sweets right now... But I know that's your least favorite anyways...Have some spicy pokèmon food!"
Shade: "Thanks!"

Shade began eating the spicy food

"Ok let's go! And the cafe probably has regular Pokemon food too." Melon said as she walked inside.

Aster slowly woke up and noticed his trainer and Jubilee talking with the Shaymin he had seen before in the deli and on Route 201. He also noticed Melon walking in and approached her saying, "Hey!"

Melon smiled, "Oh hi! You're Aster right?" The Bulbasaur nodded.

Aster gestured to the table he, Jasmine, and Jubilee were at. "Come to our table! We have berries, cookies, cake, and stuff...because my trainer couldn't decide what to get so she basically got a small amount of everything..."
Melon followed Aster to the table, eyes sparkling, and started eating most of the food.

The Shaymin nodded. "I've been following both your masters since they first left with their pokémon." She pulled the chip bag closer to her and began finishing them up.

Melon looked around and shook her head. "I don't think anyone here's a threat...anyway, are you going to eat something?" She bit down on an Oran berry.

Jubilee thought for a moment. "Hmm interesting...well hope to see you again soon! Well I'll definitely see you again soon!" She bounced around before making her way to their table.

Hmm I wonder what they were talking about... Jasmine thought to herself. She followed Jubilee to the table and was surprised to see the Chikovee fusion and Gible, now Gabite, from before. "What are you two doing here?" she asked before looking at Melon and added, "And hey!! You're the one who stole my food...and you're still here eating my food!!!" The Chikovee lowered her ears and squeaked a tiny, apologetic "Bui..."

Aster wrapped a vine around Melon and Wrathüs and smiled. "Bulba bulbasaur!" (They're my friends!)

Reye switched to sky form, dropping the now empty bag on chips into the garbage. In her state of hovering, she peered over the counter, wondering if she could snag anything else, before deciding against it, landing on a hanging flower pot over head.

Aster retracted his vines. "Hey! I'm not a monster!!" he snapped.

Jasmine laughed, "Well anyway...would either of you two like to join me? I have enough food to last a while... *looks at Melon* even with a sneaky one like you! And we can go defeat gyms and get gym badges!" She held out a few pokeballs.

Melon hesitated and thought for a while. "..."

The Shaymin giggled at the Pokémon below her, amused at their interactions. She studied the Pokéballs the trainer was offering the others. She could never become a human's Pokémon herself, she'd miss the freedom if the wild, besides, this trainer probably didn't need yet another grass type, especially if the Chikovee decided to join her.

Jasmine caught a Gabite. She just stared, surprised at the accidental capture. She thought of releasing him, but she saw how nervous he seemed around people and Pokemon. There's also the chance that he might get captured by a bad trainer and, anyway, maybe he'll get to see how nice her and her Pokemon are and loosen up a bit.

Meanwhile, Melon was still thinking.


After 100 years a moment, she looked up at Jasmine, smiled, and nodded. "Chika!" She then growled at the pokeballs as if to say she didn't like them and wanted her freedom.

Jasmine understood saying, "Don't worry, I'll catch you and take you out! Just...promise me you won't steal from anyone again, including me...only in emergencies that don't involve your stomach!" The fusion nodded and Jasmine booped Melon's head lightly with the ball, capturing the Chikovee. She then took both Wrathüs and Melon out of their balls. "Don't go too far, ok?" Melon nodded, seeing how she cared about her Pokemon, and nuzzled her affectionately. "Vee!" Jasmine smiled and murmured to herself, "I wonder if Jesus is ready yet...we should be heading out about now."

Shady went to look around the town. He only went outside the café, then he came back in. He went back to Spyke’s shadow, and sunk into it.
