A shiver went down Kyohei's spine from the glare. "Y-yeah! I didn't actually expected to see you again so soon!"

'or at all actually...' but he doesn't have the guts to say it.

Eevee and Fletchling replied with a yip and a chirp to the Vulpix's 'hello', "what are you doing here actually? I didn't expect someone like you would enjoy a cheerful festival like this!" Kyohei asks with interest.

"n-nonOnONONO-- It's not like that at all!" Kyohei defensively puts his hands up, "I-I was just curious! You just, don't seem to be the type to like this thing is all, so I was, you know, surprised!" He said with a nervous laughter as he looks away.

He swore under his breath and quickly try to change the topic, "S-say! Where'd you get that facepaint? It's really pretty and it really fits your looks actually!" Kyohei swore again, regretting going up to this person.

'Maybe if I just slowly step back...' It's a very tempting way to get out of this scenario, but that'd be rather rude. And considering she has a knife, he's not even gonna chance that knowing what she could possibly do.

Echo smirked “Well, you thought wrong then. Thanks, also, you can get your face painted over there” She drawled, and gestured lazily with her knife to a tent, where her fletching and dedenne were playing. “You seem pretty nervous though....why?”

"Ha, me, nervous?" He laughs it off, not before doing quick glances at the knife out of fear. Diminishing it rather quickly by asking his Pokemon if they want to get their face painted to and all three of them agreeing (Bounsweet giving less enthusiastic of a response), he turned back to Echo.

"Thanks! We'll be checking it out!" And Kyohei was about to run off before he turns back at Echo again having his mood completely 180, "Oh wait right, I don't think I've ever gotten your name and it'd be rude considering we've! Mine's Kyohei!"

Kyohei and his pokemon checked out the face-paint tent, requesting and getting him and his pokemon a butterfly painted. He and Eevee has a small one painted on his cheek, Fletchling has one painted on his right eye, and Bounsweet has her entire face painted (much to everyone's surprise).

Kyohei thanks the painter, "Alright everyone, back to our task of fi-" Kyohei's stomach growled loudly followed by his Pokemon, "-get some food! Let's go gang!" His Pokemon answered back with enthusiastic cries (probably out of hunger) and off they went to find a food stand.

Alex had found his dwebble and tossed a net ball straight at it, catching it. "Wooo whooo, corphish and i have caught our third pokemon!!" He put the pokeball away and began to walk toward the next town.

Buying a few berries and food from the stand, Kyohei and his Mons had a fill of their belly. A satisfied and loud burp sounded from Eevee in which Fletchling laughs and getting tail smacked as payback.

"Sweet sweet." Bounsweet had finished her meal a lot earlier than the others and started bouncing on Kyohei's lap in which the boy in question has no idea on what the Fruit pokemon is dawdling about. He proceeded to pick up Bounsweet and plop her back on his head, "There you go bud!" And Bounsweet glares silently at the boy.

"Everyone ready?" An energetic yip and chirp came from Fletchling and Eevee, "Alright, NOW we should find where the hell everyone is." Kyohei's off on another round around the city to check out the things he probably missed and finding his companion before continuing on the road.

He strolled into sapphire town. His corphish looked ecstatic. "hehe, buddy lets see what we cang get you" he went in the came of the store with a sapphire cufflet around its arm. "Hmm should we go check the gym out little buddy? then we could go diving !" The kid began to walk to the gym building.

Kyohei sighs as he finish his walkabout and not finding anybody. "I-I guess they left without me?" a nervous chuckle leaves his mouth. "Fletch fletch!" "Eevee!" Eevee and Fletchling starts tugging on Kyohei's clothes, dragging him to the gate of the town. "You know what? Yeah! We'll probably just meet them on the next town anyways!"

An enthusiastic yell and Kyohei runs to Route 5 where he immediately trips on a sleeping Slowpoke. He cursed. The Slowpoke, waking up and agitated from having been awoken, released a Water Gun attack which Bounsweet retaliated away with Rapid Spin. "Okay Eevee, let's hurl that thing with your Tackle!"

"Vee!" Eevee responded and hits the Slowpoke as hard as possible. The Slowpoke tries to fight back with another Water Gun but was interrupted with a quick Peck from Fletchling. Kyohei got a pokeball out and threw it at the Slowpoke. A satisfied ding was heard and Kyohei runs up to the pokeball and let Slowpoke back out. "Hey mate, sorry for interrupting your sleep, I wasn't really looking! If you want, you can continue your nap in here-" He points at the pokeball, "-as long as you want and in return you'll be going with us!"

Slowpoke was lost on sentence one, but hearing the word 'nap' made her let out an agreeing yawn. Kyohei healed the Slowpoke with a potion and returned her as promised. "Alright, no more distraction, to the next town!"
