Right after the second shot was fired, Mei frowned and placed her
hands on her hips. “Come on! This isn’t even fun anymore!” She
called out, not even noticing the sound of a feline that came
after. If this was just a joke, she wouldn’t even bother sticking
with the group anymore... She’d find the school on her own, but why
should she when she could just go back home.
Xatina was absorbed by learning about the phone, but when it was
done, the loud shot caught her attention. "Now I'm curious," she
muttered. She glanced at Oracle. "Thanks for the phone and helping
me figure it out, but I think it's high time I got to school." She
continued heading up the hill, huffing and puffing a bit since the
climb was so steep. After stopping a bit to rest, she went to the
gate, seeing Mei. "Do you know what that sound was?"
Mei sighed upon learning that there wasn’t anything there, but
instead just an open gate. 10 minutes into her day and she was
already over it... “No, I don’t... Why care anyways, we’re all
fine...” she grumbled as she turned to walk away, spreading her
wings and was ready to fly away. It was quite annoying having to be
sure she had 16 feet of area clear for her to fly, but she
eventually got over it. Even so, sometimes she wished she didn’t
have wings at all... “Sayonara!”
"Well, that was a bit rude," Xatina muttered. Still, unlike Mei,
she did not have the luxury of flying. So, she began walking the
perimiter of the school, trying to find the main enterance. Her
interest in this school had wavered, but right now she was rather
curious about what lay inside this school. Now if only she could
find a door of some kind..
Xatina threw up her hands in disgust. It had been a good 20 minutes
and she couldn't find an entrance! She briefly comptenplaited the
idea of hypnotizing someone into guiding her to the entrance, but
she didn't want to make a bad reputation, at least for now. At
home, a bad reputation was the best kind, but Xatina was well aware
that this place was nothing like her home. That could be a good or
bad thing, depending on how you looked at it. Oh well. Xatina saw a
dirt path heading away from the school. She couldn't care less if
she was late, so she decided to follow it. It appeared to lead to a
scrapyard...
Hearing both about a junkyard and the toll of a school bell, James
was nearly torn in half. Sure, school was relatively important, but
this was a junkyard they were talking about! Considering it,
he took a step towards the school. Then promptly turned on his heel
and started jogging towards where the junkyard was supposed to be.
His hands tingled with the hope of tinkering with that much metal,
his wrench tucked in the waistband of his pants alongside his sack
of trinkets.
Mei was slightly curious as to why no one was heading inside the
building, but she figured that it was for a better reason than
going into the school. She sighed and quickly landed, right outside
the school entrance. Might as well follow them yet again, not like
she had anything better to do.
Solar was already in the school building, and was trying to
navigate his way around the hallways, keeping his wings folded so
he doesn't accidentally cause any trouble for anyone. He didn't
really know what anyone here looked like, but he could sense that
there were lots of people here.
Xatina noticed that Magnus had also arrived. She chose to deal with
the gun weilding rat first though. "Er..let's put that away,
alright?" If worse came to worse, she could hypnotize him, but
Xatina prefered to not use her powers. "I'm Xatina." Then, she
answered Magnus. "I'd rather not." Though she did silently beg that
he wouldn't ask why.
James sighed, seeing others already there. Approaching, he stopped.
He stood a safe distance away, unable to be seen through the gate.
He could see a bit of metal there, and gave a small smile. Working
his jaw, he waited until the conversation ended before he could
approach and ask for entry.
"I don't understand, I tell you who I am and ask why you point a
laser gun at me and you say you would 'rather not' like what does
that even mean? Now I am only going to ask this one last time who
are you and why are you pointing guns at people?"
Xatina laughed. "Woah there, I was answering your question about
the ride. I'd rather not accept...because reasons I don't feel like
sharing. But I do agree, put the gun away."
