"Felix is probably gonna bring enough for himself and the cat like
we are, so whatever you'd fancy. I can tell him to go to the park
own the road to wait, if you'd like."
Xatina was not happy. Not. at. all. She didn't like being
categorized. Any who really knew her knew that she was anything but
a good demon, and she intended to prove it to him. She walked up
behind Magnus and tapped him on the shoulder, teeth bared. "Excuse
me. What did you say about me?" Magnus was about to learn what
happened when you made assumtions about Xatina Mongeldra.
While Jesse wordlessly followed the others as they came on to the
junkyard, but he had to say something as Xatina put her hands on
one of his new friends.
"Hey, you may think you're all high and might or whatever, but
whoever the frick you are, you may not touch my friends like that.
You got me?"
He stood infront of her, not really caring anymore. His wings
changed in a puff of pink magic, turning into leathery, black,
bat-like ones. His halo was jet-black and cracked and he had
light-pink horns that stood up on his head accompanied with
goat-like ears matching with his hair. He had a demon tail tipped
with a diamond that went from pink at the top to an ombre to orange
in the middle.
"I said that you are too uptight. I just invited four ppl to ride a
metal bone dragon through time and space and you are worried about
how many rules are going to get broken. Plus, you think that you
are better than me don't you? So why are you uptight parent
problems or physical problems like managing your emotions and
temper?"
Xatina turned her head, a eyebrow raised. "Seriously? I tapped his
shoulder. What's wrong with that?" She turned to face him, arms
crossed. "What, you call me high yet you're here bossing me around
like that? Not cool, not cool. And for your information, I'm just
another demon." Inwardly, Xatina laughed. She could be so much
more, but laws and roadblocks held her back. She was less than what
she could be, but still. Who was he kidding?
Oracle skidded down a heap of scrap metal on an old car door,
stopping infront of a purple cat with a lighter purple underbelly,
jaw and bright yellow eyes.
Jesse would not stand for that kind of disrespect. It might not
have been blatant, but he knew it when he heard it. This girl was
seriously underestimating him. "Look little lady, I know you might
be something big down wherever you're from, but you're not here. So
stop acting like it." Before, his wings had been hidden behind his
sweatshirt, but now they came out to full length. They were
massive, about 4ft long a piece, and were the color of marble. "If
you wanna be like that, then square up."
Xatina's tounge flicked out. "So we've got a confident one?
Interesting." For a split second, if Jesse looked right at her, he
would see the tiny red fire in her eyes. "I may be nothing here
compared to where I came from, but just because you're an angel
doesn't mean that you can boss me around." She ran her tounge over
her fangs, comptemplating the idea of attacking him. He seemed
powerful, but Jesse had no idea what Xatina had done in the
underworld to gain her power. He had no idea what she could do. "So
I'd suggest we nip this in the bud and agree that we ignore each
other, so that things...don't get ugly."
Xatina looked up just in time to see the boulder, and let out a
scream as she dove out of the way, landing in the grass. She looked
up angrily. That was completley unconventinal, and it made her
furious. She scrambled to her feet, brushing the grass off. "Who
did that and why? That was ridiculous and completley unnescesary!"
Her eyes sparked once as she glared at all of them.
Xatina was absolutley raging. "What do you mean, pick a number? Are
you mad?" She was about to attack him before suddenly calming
herself. "Fine." Gritting her fangs, she says, "Do you want me to
say the number?" Her hands curled into fists, her nails cutting
into the skin. At this point, Xatina would have liked nothing more
than to go back to the Underworld immeaidently. But, for lack of
any better way to go forward, she would stick around for now.
A boy who seemed to be 17 stumbled from around the corner wearing a
lab coat. The coat was covering his legs, his black heavy duty
boots being seen slightly underneath. He had puffy, brown hair that
was dyed purple at the front with brown rat ears sticking out the
top, a rat tail hanging loosely behind him. He was wearing green,
round glasses that acted more like goggles.
Xatina could barely hold in her anger, but she had decided that it
would be more prudent to keep her head. She took a deep breath,
crossing her arms and flicking her tounge once. She closed her
eyes, and opened them. "Sixty-seven." She didn't say anything more,
but she did look up when she saw someone coming around the corner.
Great. Someone else who would make irrational assumstions about
her? Not exactly what she needed at the moment.
Xatina spluttered, "What?" She was this close to attacking him
anyway. "How am I supposed to get you sixty-seven crystals? I
didn't provoke you in any way, I was just trying to explain that
tapping someone's shoulder isn't a reason to go crazy. I think the
rest of you are the ones who are being stuck up. You haven't even
given me a chance to prove myself, and you're already critizsizing
me?"
James Darreon, forever late to everything. Waking up, learning the
latest news, the list went on. Waking up slowly, he sat up, already
clothed, as he'd forgotten to dress down before going to sleep.
Getting up, the demon grabbed his wrench and a small bag that made
small jingling sounds when it moved. Stepping out into the sun, the
demon cocked his head, then looked down the street. Giving a
serrated smile, he started towards a group that seemed to be
arguing and screaming at each other. "Morning! Mind if I ask what's
going on?"
