Mystin halted again so fast he almost slipped and tripped. He did
his jazz hands again and said, "This is-er-uh, I don't know her
name, but this is Latias!"
Meka looked st the fire. "I can try using my Vaporeon form...but I
don't think I'll be strong enough..." she briefly hovered above the
ground to study the flames, having overtaken the building.
Tidal blinked her eyes open, slowly sitting up and looking around
the room. She was lying down on a bed, the fact that her arm was in
a cast being the only way she could tell that getting trapped under
the Rock Slide hadn't just been a dream. She realized that her
shirt and pants had been cleaned and mended, and she assumed it had
something to do with the move Wish. Shuddering at the memory of the
Zekrom's attack, she glanced around in attempt to dislodge it,
trying to perceive where she was and if the others were nearby.
Meka was quick to follow Mystin inside, Riko close behind.
Meanwhile, Kate hung back, watching them go. She debated following
them, but then again, she wanted to make sure they were distracted
by the fire for as long as possible. Maybe that would be easier
from the outside
Xaiver gave an angry shout. "Where is it?!" He ran around the room,
tossing bookshelves in his anger as he searched for one in
particular. "That book will guide me through Mount Moon and to the
Stone Plate!"
Mystin was making his way through the burning building and realized
quickly that he was lost in the flames, and he was close enough to
Xaiver that he could hear his shouts.
Kate went invisible before following, quickly using dragon breath
on some twigs to re-ignite some of the flames. She was discreet
about it, making sure no one saw.
Xaiver gritted his teeth. Fine! If this was how it was going to be,
that was how it was going to be. He stormed out of the room,
hacking and coughing from the smoke. Why did it have to be
fire?
Mystin made a frantic gesture to the others. "He's coming!" he
said, as quietly as he could over the roar of the flames.
She stood up and wandered to the door of the room. Glancing through
the glass window in the door, she perceived that she was in a
clean, cheerful building in Cerulean City. Realizing that it must
be the Pokemon Center and that the other legendaries were not in
sight, she guessed that they must have hurried to find the second
plate. She was glad, she wouldn't have wanted them to waste time
and stay with her. Reaching out through the telepathic link by
strengthening it with her own psychic powers, she tried to see
where they were.
Mystin somehow sensed that Tidal was awake. "Tidal!" he said in his
mind, full of relief. "You're okay! I mean, are you okay? You're
alright, yeah? Cause I can't speak Chansey, no matter how many
times Zapdos tries to teach me, I just can't understand it. So
you're okay?"
Xaiver was getting closer and closer evrey minute, his black cape
peeking out from the corner.
"I'm alright. I'm coming," she responded, unable to hold back a
smile. Glancing down at her still injured wrist, however, she
guessed that the nurse wouldn't allow her to leave just yet, or at
least not in a timely fashion. She hurried to lay back down in the
bed to make it seem as if she was still asleep whilst trying to
reach Aurora's mind, hoping that the Lunala would be able to
transport her through an Ultra Wormhole to the others, but was
interrupted when a Chansey entered the room. Closing her eyes and
slowing her breathing, she hoped the Pokemon wouldn't realize that
she was awake.
Nez felt the presence of Aroura, so he teleported to her location.
"Its good that youre here. Without you or Sol I'm basically
useless. Speaking of Sol, where is he? You said you were going to
find him."
