She calmly stared back at him, though she was certain he must sense
her utter fear. But if her suspicions were correct, if this Zekrom
knew Outrage and she could goad him into using it and loosing
control, then all would be well. For the others, at least. "Oh, I'm
well aware. Certainly, though, you'd use a more spectacular move to
take down an enemy? Type effectiveness is such a bore."
She suddenly sensed the psychic link in her mind and silently
screamed to the others through it, "Hurry!!!"
Xaiver snarled. "You know what, you're right. Anyone who gets in my
way does not deserve a quick death. His eyes became purple. "Dragon
Claw should do the trick."
Mystin muttered through the link, "I can sense it, we're nearly
there."
"I sense anger, and lots of it. I think HE might be near." 'If
that's the case we should get a move on. " Sol slung his sword in
its sash and got ready to use Sunsteel Stike because it helped him
move alot faster.
She forced herself to smile at him before turning and running off
down a random tunnel. It wasn't Outrage, but it should work,
provided he was worked up enough.
Having been way behind, Kate awkwardly followed the voices, heading
deeper into the cave. Oh! She just knew she'd get lost!
Riko followed Mystin. Meka was still in Gardivior form behind her,
an oddly comforting presence. The Mew was uncharacteristically
nervous, looking out for danger
Despite her fear, Xavier's insult still stung a bit. The
indignation was short lived, though, as she was forced to focus on
running. I can't stop, she told herself. He'll kill me if I do.
Turn after turn, she continued to dart down random passages, hoping
that eventually she'd come out into the open air. However, she only
seemed to be fleeing deeper into the cave.
Mystin quietly approached the wall, looking up at the huge
carvings. There was one of the three birds, fire, ice, and
electric, and Mystin took a long look at himself. Then his gaze
shifted to the people below. Finally, his eyes fell upon the Mewtwo
in the middle of the carving. "Yep, this it." He traced the outline
of the carving, whispering something in a foreign language.
Xaiver suddenly halted to a stop. He stared through the wall with
wide eyes. "They found it..."
As she came to an intersection connecting six different
passageways, Tidal caught her pointed flat on the hem of her bell
bottomed pants, almost tripping. With a growl under her breath, she
ripped it free and took the far right passage, slowing just enough
to make sure Xavier could see which one she took. Panic raged in
her, and she knew that any blow the Zekrom landed on her would hit
full force due to his Teravolt; Multiscale couldn't save her now.
She heard his footsteps stop suddenly, and she realized that her
plan was in danger. She got the sense that taunting him would only
make him more aware of what she was trying to do, and so forced
herself to once again trip on her pants, intentionally letting out
a cry of pain as she crashed to the ground near a small underground
river. The fall hurt more than she had expected, and the pain
quickly became genuine.
Kate kept wandering through the cave, heading for what sounded like
gibberish whilst muttering to herself. Things would feel much
better once she found the others.
Riko and Meka landed shortly behind. "Is that it?" The shiny Zacian
inquired
Xaiver grimaced. "I'll deal with you later, Lugia." He raised his
hand, rocks crashing down in Rock Tomb. Then, he used Dragon Claw
to crash through the wall. "I'm COMING FOR YOU!" he roared.
Mystin nodded. He continued tracing the Mewtwo, and it began to
glow and shake. "Almost..." he muttered.
Meka let herself shift back into her humanoid cat form, watching
intently. She twitched at the sound of Zekrom yelling, and silently
urged Mystin to hurry up.
Kate wandered through twists and turns...the sounds got quieter for
a bit, and she changed her path
She had no idea where she was going...but the sounds seemed to be
getting louder now.
