She hung back, watching the group's progression. Upon sighting the
figure, she quickly launched herself into a pine tree 10 feet from
the river bank, concealing herself amongst the branches.
From her perch, she could she the haughty expression on Xavier's
face. Anger roiled in her stomach, and she waved her hand, causing
a stalactite to crash to the ground behind him.
She allowed herself a grin of satisfaction. Perhaps if she brought
down more of the cave... but no, that would only serve to ruin the
mission. Plus, she doubted she would even be able to remain
conscious after exerting that much power in this form.
"I do belvie that I'm going to have to force you out." Black magic
seeped from Xaiver's eyes and mouth, creating long lines in the air
like a giant net. Imprison.
"No you don't!" Despite having better moves, Meka quickly through a
shadow ball his way. "You can't win against all of us!" She cried
out, subconsciously hoping that the others would live up to their
legendary names.
Xaiver was knocked back, but he smirked, and this time, yellow
magic slipped out, summoning a Thunderbolt.
Mystin took a deep breath, sending a powerful Ice Beam, his sharp
blue eyes glowing as he did. The Ice Beam just barely missed
Xaiver, who gave a taunting laugh.
With a flash of her sword, Riko sent a moonblast at the black
dragon gjinka. "I wouldn't suggest that look, dear." She muttered.
She was never shaken by dragon type pokemon, her sword said to
slice their scales with ease. Psychic types...like Mewtwo, however,
may be a problem
Xaiver dove out of the way, rolling to the side. He frowned. "Now,
now, missie, I think we both have something more important to do,
no? We both want the Splash Plate, so it seems only fair that we
both get the chance to look for it." He grinned. "A game, of
sorts."
Riko didn't relax, just glared down at the thunderclap pokemon.
"Game, hmm?" To be honest, she'd rather end this BS right here and
now, but she supposed it wouldn't be the best idea to kill a
legendary pokemon, turned our not.
Seeing the flashes of moves, Tidal quickly darted out of the tree
and behind a boulder closer to the cave. She knew that the Zekrom
could easily kill her if he got the chance, but perhaps if he was
unaware of her presence she could be of assistance in other ways.
Xaiver grinned, "That's an easy answer, dearie. A game to look for
the Splash Plate. A race, of sorts. Your group against little ole
me, and the first ones to find the plate keep it."
"Sounds...like we were going to do this anyway." Riko responded
softly. She planned on finding that plate, and if Xavier found it
first, she wouldn't hesitate to swipe it from him. She didn't say
this out loud, of course.
