The cat continues to pur and starts to kiss the strangers hand and then from deep in the woods a little girl came running calling "Cheri!" Then she approached the stranger holding the cat and said "there you are Cheri! Thank you for finding her!"

Talia smiled. "She's the one who found me." She said. "Where'd you come from?" She asked

Looks around nervously "um I live in a cottage over there!" Points deeper in the woods. "Where do you come from?" 🙂

"I came from the village outside of the forest." She said, putting Cheri down om the forest floor. "Down that way." She pointed to where she had come from

Suddenly, Grisell once again spotted a white blur out of the corner of her eye. Was it the same creature from earlier? Whatever it was, it had caught Grisell's attention, and she began quietly stepping towards the shape.

looks nervously at the girl "sorry I'm a wee bit shy! But I don't think I asked for your name!"

"It's okay!" She smiled. "I'm Talia. What's your name?" She asked. She looked around, hearing a small sound in the distance she couldn't identify. probably a bird

Stares of in distance for 30 seconds then stares back "oh its Christina I mean Christy!" Hears a strange noise in the distance and says "oh no oh no!"

"Hm? What is it?" Talia asked. She looked around again, trying to identify the sound. "What do you mean 'oh no'?" She looked back at Christy.

"Look that rock over there we have to hide I'll explain later hurry they're coming!!!" Yanks Talia's arm and rushes them under the rock

"Wah..!" She gasped as she was pulled along behind the rock. "What- who's coming?" She asked, panicking a little.

covers Talia's mouth with her hand "shh!" A whole minute passed then there were very loud howls a pack of wolves came running through the path where Talia and Christy were conserving but something was off they weren't moving like normal wolves they stopped for a minute then ran off... Now there was only silence

Her eyes widened in fear. She had never seen something like that before. She waited in terrified silence for a moment, then asked, "What were those?" in a hushed voice, trembling the slightest bit

"Ummm how do I explain this... Ok in this world there are humans but there are things beyond humans but the thing is those were people just not normal some call them man wolves and some call them werewolves but I have had umm close encounters with them but we should be safe now."

Lei made a pouty face, still trying to think of a way to get things to go her way. After a little thought, she managed to come up with something that might work. “Hey sir! W-Why’d you come in here anyways?” She yelled after him, only to get the worst possible reply of “none of your business”. She frowned, then ran up to him and tugged on his shirt. “Please tell me! I might be able to help!” She pleaded.

Geo stopped to turn around, then looked down at her. A confused but also dangerous look had suddenly appeared on his face. “You already know why I’m here... Don’t you...” a slight growl caught onto his voice, showing his suspicion of her. “You wouldn’t say that unless you knew I was looking for something...” he bent down to be eye level with her. “So tell me...” he said in a low voice, almost like he was threatening her. “How did you know...”

So he really caught on that quickly? She will admit, she kinda slipped up there but she doubted that it was enough to catch on like that... Her persona of being young and immature had really gotten to her... She hoped that her expression hadn’t change to make him more suspicious, or else this situation would be impossible to fix. “W-What do you mean...? I only assumed that, you can’t blame me for it! I just heard that everyone was gathering firewood, so I thought you were doing something similar! Y-You did come from the same direction as them, r-right...?” Well... it was obvious that she was panicking now...

“You’re not even human, are you...” he narrowed his eyes, as if he was showing her that he could see straight through the lies. “W-what do you mean by tha-“ she was cut off by another question. “If you were close enough to hear them, you would’ve asked them for help, would you not? If you saw me come from the entrance, that means you would’ve followed me, correct? Not only that, but you could’ve made your way out of the forest if you saw me... Your innocent act was terrible from the start...”

Lei’s eyes were wide, she knew she had been caught. Well... It was fun while it lasted... But she didn’t want to end his life just yet, he seemed quite intriguing, someone she could have fun with... She suddenly burst out in laughter, which surprised Geo into backing up a bit. “Uh oh! I’ve been caught! Man, that serious attitude was scarin me a little bit! Lighten up a bit, wouldja?” Her laughter faded off as she said this, allowing her words to be heard more clearly. “Yeah, you’re right, I ain’t like you borin old creatures.” She crossed her arms and leaned on a tree. “But anyways, doubt you’d wanna hear about that...” She sighed and closed her eyes, waiting on her victim to make his move.

“Yeah... you’re right...” he grumbled, turning around to walk away. So what if she was some sort of demon or something? Not like it mattered to him anyways.

After walking for what felt like hours (though in reality, it was probably only a half-hour) Grisell groaned. Her feet felt like they were on fire, her arm was sore from the weight of the basket of firewood, and to top it all off, it looked like the white shape was just as far away as when she started her mini-journey. It was like the forest just kept stretching! Grumbling, the brunette finally decided to give her feet a break, and plopped down on an old tree stump.

A plushie looking dog with pitch-black, dripping eyes and a single white dot in each for a pupil pokes her head through a bush next to Grisell and sniffed her hand.

Talia looked at Christy. "I thought they were just stories..." She said, looking toward where the wolves ran off. "Will they come back?" She asked.

"They make a loop about twice a day that was probably their 2nd so we should be safe for about 12 hours. That gives us enough time to go , but I don't know where to go...."
