Pokédew Valley was a quiet town on the coast of a faraway foreign region.
However, it was until the new Pokéball factory had appeared up in the north of the rural town, that there have been sightings of aggressive shadow Pokémon. These Pokémon like to terrorise the town at night and have since spooked the local wildlife into hiding. Locals believe that the new factory has something to do with this, but no one has been able to get inside due to the tight security.
Things had become so bad with the shadow Pokémon that the tenants that took care of the farm neighbouring the valley left abruptly, surrendering the land back to nature. This the forced local stores to resort to the more expensive importation of produce in order to ensure the town was fed. It would only be a matter of time until the Mayor would have to seek out help if the town was to survive. Thus, offering trainers from all over to stay at the farm, free of charge, in exchange for helping to keep the town alive.

- The Mines; Beware, Pokémon here get stronger as you go deeper in the mines
- The Explorer Guild; They're always going to 'quests' to find something, many older residents believe it's childish

- Pokédew beach! A popular spot for fishing or just relaxing
- The Magikarp Shack; Has everything you may need to begin your fishing career
West:
- The Farmhouse; A tad rundown but contains: a kitchen, lounge, several bedrooms with bathrooms, and a cellar
- The Farm; Currently looks more like a forest but has a lot of fertile land for crops and a pond
- The Secret Shrine; ..what even is this for?
East:
- The Daycare; They take care of young children as well as your Pokémon, "The two get along very well!"
- Pokédew Woods; Used to be full of all kinds of Pokémon; however, it's eerily silent since the shadow Pokémon appeared
- The Old Castle Ruins; Lays deep in the woods, but although sealed, there are rumours of treasure inside

Team Umbra are a villainous group who run the new Pokéball factory in Pokédew. Whilst they do, in fact, create Pokéballs, they're working on creating a ball that allows them to capture shadow Pokémon like regular Pokémon. To do this, they've released a number of imported shadow Pokémon from the Orre region to buy them time and to appear as the overall heroes when they finally find a solution to the shadow problem. They typically wear dark, business attire and use mainly (but not limited to) dark and ghost type Pokémon.

- PH rules apply -
- Sentence/paragraph format please, doesn't have to be detailed but refrain from over-using one-liners -
- You can have as many characters as you want as long as you can manage them -
- Town residents are to be at least 10 years old -
- Trainers moving into the farm and Umbra Admins are to be aged 18+ -
- Trainers may carry a max of 6 Pokémon; No legends/mythicals (yet?); Megas, Z-Crystals and dynamaxing is allowed -
- Relationships between characters are allowed, as long as there's consent between both users -
- Plot can be flexible, you don't have to be too involved in the main plot, but still have a couple of run-ins with the enemies -
- Town curfew is 9 PM; Ignoring this will increase your character's chances of being attacked by shadow Pokémon -
- If you've read all of these, put you're favourite Eeveelution in the 'Other' section of your form

Leah has lilac eyes and dark chocolate brown hair, appearing almost black, which has been cut in a choppy bob. Despite only standing about 5 feet tall, this girl can put up quite the fight after having trained with her father in the International Police Force for as long as she can remember. She keeps herself on a strict diet and trains alongside her Pokemon to keep herself in shape. However, even with this lifestyle, she still has insecurities. Leah is rarely be seen in feminine clothing, much preferring to sport anything that is dark and baggy to cover herself up. She claims it's to keep her warm, but often contradicts herself by sitting outside to soak in the rain.
Personality:
She keeps herself to herself, preferring not to say much or anything at all, and will almost always introduce herself as 'Blakely' (her 'code name') rather than her birth name: Leah. This is most likely due to her job and wanting to keep such things a secret for her own advantage over people. Her job is pretty much her life and all she's really known. Because of this, she rarely gives herself time to unwind from her strict working ethics. Fortunately, Leah not easily stressed and typically takes on problems with a straight face, but finds it harder to focus when those around her are panicking.

Appearance: Luke somewhat stands out more than a typical grunt would. While he respects the dress code, he accentuates his clothing with a yellow print wherever he can that wouldn't violate it. The most prominent example being the standard yellow tie he manages to get by with. He sports brown hair that hangs just above his shoulders , with bangs that swoop to the side. His eyes are an aqua blue.
Personality: Luke is quite a playful one, who thinks that the snobbish appearance of Team Umbra is too silly to not have a little fun with. His belief is that rules are meant to be broken, and while some of his younger peers get along well with him, the strict adults have scolded him far too many times. However, his pure passion for the team and devotion have prevented him from getting more than just a slap on the wrist.

With a perpetual babyface and petite frame, Balladeer clocks in at an impressive 162 cm/5'3 ft. Including that ostentatious hat of theirs. Their dark blue hair almost looks black in the shade of their hat, and their cerulean eyes shine with child-like innocence, painstakingly fabricated to suit their wide-eyed-bushy-tailed facade. Their clothing is painstakingly detailed and layered in a way that makes it completely impractical as it doesn't quite retain heat nor does it repel the cold. It's just plain aesthetics.
Personality:
It's almost impressive how much sass and rage can be packed into a body but Balladeer defies all pre-established expectations by being 200% more snarky than they have any right being. You wouldn't know it at first glance though, as they keep a polite facade the moment they step out into public. This side of them takes advantage of their youthful appearance and projects across a kind and smooth-talking personality, easily coaxing out information before the person they're speaking with even knows it. Their extensive information network keeps Balladeer in the loop about many things and thus has a bit of blackmail on everyone which they won't hesitate to use to get their way. Their manipulations also extend to guilt-tripping and coercion, making it abundantly clear that they are not a nice person. They have somewhat of a violent superiority complex and their team composition reflects that, comprised of annoyingly persistent heavy hitters.
Their short temper and silver tongue are ready to give anyone a verbal lashing at a moment's notice but given the perpetual jokes about looking much younger than they are, can anyone blame them? (yes. yes you can blame them)

There's a certain air of mystery surrounding Shin, cloaking the young adult without fail at it all begins with the appearence. With a stoic face and dull grey eyes that reveal very little, Shin's willowy build almost seems frail and breakable. Clothes worn are light and airy, giving Shin an etherial and aloof air. Although practical and slightly decoritave, Shin's clothes are mostly a mystery just like everything else about Shin. Scars cross cross across fair skin which no one is really sure where it comes from, some too deep and jagged to simply be work related blunders.
Personality:
A kind and forthright young adult, Shin is always seen bustling around the village offering aid whenever it is needed. Earnest and genuine kindness pours out with every action Shin does yet one is hard pressed to truly gain Shin's trust despite many believing Shin to be naive and gullible. Emotion rarely shows on Shin's face, always seemingly lost in the clouds while floating from one person to the next asking if anyone needs any help. While working, Shin is often silent, pouring everything into completing a task with a single minded focus which means that Shin receives often injuries as a result of not paying attention. The airheaded appearence beligues a sharp mind and attentive eyes which take notice of things that may be unseen to others.

There isn't really a question as to how Rhea got her nickname. She is a svelte, willowy beauty dressed in pale clear robes with an equally delicate complexion. She might as well have been carved out of a cloud itself. Rhea is a tall female, with long slender legs providing the most of her height. Her attire is just as airy and light as her very being. The colors, though sometimes diaphanous, mainly compose of white, silver and various shades of light blue. She wears a pale blue colored light brim hat on her head, with various feathers coming out of the top. Her expression is mostly deemed to be coldly impassive, a face brimming with silent contemplation. Her striking jade green and ice blue eyes (heterochromatic) are cool; haunted, as if she's seen something that struck her to her core, yet unnervingly innocent and bright.
Personality
Rhea is a very strong-willed, intuitive individual; yet with her svelte build, celestially gold heart and bejeweling charisma, it appears that there is very little of her that cannot be deduced right away; especially that she is a girl who wears her heart on her sleeve. And you can bet that she's climbed that esteemed social ladder for that holy title of neighborhood sweetheart. She is known, mostly, for her endearingly affectionate nature, an empathetic girl who is willing to walk in someone else's foosteps. An innocent charmer, spurred on by the fires of youth, yet much more cunning and clever than one might expect. Indeed, Rhea is a very perceptive character, a solemn one at times. She can be called composed, yes, but she's also overly prim in action and in demeanor. Patience is not a strong suit; and oftentimes she adheres to the social norms like they are the holy grail. Rhea is cool, aloof, regal, though sometimes her heart appears to be made out of stone. Swan currently works as a pokemon wildlife rescuer; in recent years since the attack started, she's also started to do extensive research on shadow pokemon. She claims to have successfully isolated ways to purify shadow Pokémon, but no one has bothered to confirm this.

As the regal embodiment of wolf in sheep’s clothing, Roslyn is a cunning and observant female, with thorns that can often distract from the perfect flower beneath. And it is a perfect bloom, for Roslyn will settle for nothing less. It’s not surprising to say that Roslyn is dark and vain, narcissistic, even, a facade of dominance and strident orders. She is the champion chess player, the sly fox that exploits your weaknesses; this is the black widow incarnate. She is constantly sporting an unnatural charisma, but she blends into shadows before you know her. She keeps her secrets like trump cards tucked close to her chest, dealing them out carefully as if they were nothing more than little pawns on her chessboard. Life is a game…for her. However, don’t be fooled by her pretty face. Not once has Roslyn kept her aggressive and excessively prideful temper from punishing those who deserve it, which combined with her mysterious nature, makes her a true force not to be reckoned with. She favors the quiet cloak of the shadows, which isn’t surprising since she is a ghost type trainer. Roslyn is not a female capable of affection, ambition blinded that side of her to even the keenest eyes. Perhaps, a piece of her lays to be salvaged, but its very unlikely that this soul of Lucifer will ever regain her self again.
