Kingdom of Aeraya
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Kingdom of Aeraya"...Anyway,that's why I asked. If anything,it's for your own protection...in case of an emergency." she said as she brought Esmeralda closer in an attempt to calm her down.
They jumped out of one of the windows, probably alarming a guard or two, though quickly the insufferable jingle that comes from Ava calms them down. They ran into the heart of the city to really take in the bustling atmosphere, they thought perhaps the busier it is the easier it'd be to unwind and ignore their mind. They thought right. Upon stopping they took a deep breath to channel that story protagonist feel into them and looked again, this time noticing the weird cirque-type atmosphere going on a bit further. "Huh, that's weird." They looked around "You!" They yelled and pointed at a random poor lady, now about to be a victim of their presence. "Do you know what's up with that whole. Thing going on there?" They, still yelling, moved their arm to point at the circus tent. The woman looked at them in confusion and mild horror before shrugging and then speed walking away. "Strange. Not affected by my charm, must be something about her. Or she just really doesn't know" They thought on this for a minute before deciding only the Gods knew (she just didn't know). They started scanning the place again for any familiar face, turning around in a circle.
"AHA, royal kids!" They started skipping towards Joy and Esmerelda upon noticing them minding their own business, maybe they knew something about a new clown stealing their spotlight. They probably did not.
"You ready for your first day?" - Utopia
"Yeah.. I think so" - Elfex
"Good Luck to the both of you" - Ryi
"Thanks" - Elfex
Utopia kisses Ryi goodbye and heads to the castle with is brother in toe.
"Lets hope nothing bad happens on my first day" - Elfex
"If I know you well enough, if something bad happened it would be your fault."
Utopia laughed as they walked through the gate into the amoury. When they had finished getting ready a message boy walked in.
"Sir Utopia, Mr. Elfex. The king's advisor would like to speak with you" - message boy
"Lead the way" - Utopia
"Of course, sir" - message boy
"Yes" - Utopia, Utopia heads out of the castle looking for this new person. In the back Utopia can hear the king's advisor giving orders to his brother. Utopia hears some bells he thinks those bells would atract anyones attention, i'll look there for that person.
Tap tap tap, the sound of feet across palace floors. Then, down the stairs and onto the earthen ground. Tirik closed his eyes, picturing the moment that had alerted him. "Beelzebub, can you locate what I felt?" A moment passed, then a small bell chimed far away. Only able to be heard by he who wore the hat, the bell was a signal. Rushing through the crowds, Tirik heard the bell chime again. Near the circus? Stopping, he listened. Yes, near the circus. Turning sharply, Tirik ran towards the tent, his eyes scanning the gathered people, searching for what he had felt. It was something different, something he wanted to explore. Near magic, but yet not. Advanced healing, far superior than any of the castle healers, most likely. The bell chimed again. The healer was near, very near. Turning, Tirik scanned faces. Still, he saw no soul who might have been the healer. Not yet, at least.
Dark armor clattered as hooves pounded against the earth, the dark colored horse traveling far faster than any that might be seen in this land. The dark rider aboard the beast wore a dark blue cape, an enormous sword strapped to his back beneath it. In the saddle behind the rider, two foxes sat. They were two sides of a coin, nearly exact opposites from one another. No soul might have guessed they were of the same litter, unless they were from the Blackguard Empire. Bright blue eyes made the foxes symbols, granting their tamer luck and victory. Eyes of the twin Deities, Aris and Eanous. Aris, Goddess of war, victory, bravery, and strategy. Eanous, God of luck, fortune, and prosperity. Nearing the gates of the city, Derek slowed his horse. Guards watched as the horse slowed, going hardly faster than a trot as it passed through the open gates. Tossing a coin to a guard, Derek nodded his thanks for allowing him to pass.
"My name is Sir. Utopia Grey, I'm one of the kings knights. I was asked to help you for the duration of your visit. And your name is?..." - Utopia
Tirik spotted the healer he had felt, white hair standing a head above everybody else. He also spotted... Of course. Utopia, a castle knight stood next to the healer, attempting to communicate. Sighing, Tirik walked forwards, removing something from his belt. He nodded a greeting to Utopia, then said something very loudly towards Tazu. It was the perfect volume to be heard over the noise of the crowd. "Everything is going to be silent. Do not panic." The object from his belt was dropped, and it shattered when it got the cobbles. A sort of bubble formed around the group, all sound being cancelled when it hit the edge of the bubble. "A bubble of silence. Can you hear me now, Healer? I am Tirik Aon, a Royal Mage."
The dark armor was spotted easily, but there was nothing similar to aggression or anger in the greetings that were given out. In fact, he was quite friendly. Turning the horse towards a set of stables, he reached a hand into a pouch at his waist. Coins were drawn from the pouch and handed to a stable boy, as well as the reigns that the horse was connected to. "Take good care of her." Stamping his foot twice, Derek spoke to the foxes. "Gerrin, Tabbethuh, come. Let us find what this kingdom is so worried about." The dark armor turned, two foxes jumping down from the saddle. The foxes stayed in stride with Derek, occasionally falling behind the leap at his cape.
Sure, she didn't know the names of half of the fruit, but who cares? It looked delicious and colourful, and she had a couple of coins in her pockets she wanted to spend.
Cooper grew bored of whatever he was doing in the castle. He decided that he should go on a walk around town, and was a few steps outside before he saw the jester. He carefully ducked behind a building, but followed them from a safe distance. He wondered what was going on.
Kalinda followed behind Opal in this odd dream-like version of the castle. She was amazed by how much there was to it, but wondered if this experience was an exact copy of the real castle.
Regina, knowing how forgetful her second in command was, had left a message for Phillip-
Phillip. I have recived some shocking news, and I have to leave. Since you're the only one I trust, I'm leaving you in command. I don't know how long I'll be gone, but I trust that you can run things well.
