"Alriiiight!" she yelled as she skipped away. She had already gone far enough not to hear Marigold's sigh. It didn't take long for her to stumble upon Regina and Philip. "Greetings General, Sir Philip. You had me worried for a bit back then at the bakery. Don't worry, everything is fine." she stepped in, addressing Philip. There was a bit of silence when she spoke so it didn't really feel like she interrupted anything. "Ah Regina! Weren't you conversing with Tirik a while back?"

"Working," Tirik said, "always brings out the best of me." He was speaking to nobody in particular. Or maybe he was speaking to the walls? Nonetheless , speak he did. He'd not summoned another familiar yet, as the Mouler Tracker had managed to completely disappear, and the Evolution Beast had long since been dispatched on a mission of private level. Now, the Mage felt utterly alone, without a warning system. However, he did feel everything. Maybe he did have a warning system. The metal on his arms, linked to his mind, was picking up even the most gentle vibrations in the air. Each step the Mage took not only was felt in his feet, but he saw it in his mind, without having to even glance down. It was an ominous feeling, but Tirik tried to take it in stride.

Regina was about to answer, when she heard Joy's question and muttered, "one moment," before bowing respectfully to the princess. "Your Majesty. Yes, I did in fact converse with Tirik earlier." But she wasn't about to say about what, or why. "May I ask why you inquire of this?" She had her hands behind her back in a semiformal position as she waited for Joy's explenation.

Noah looked at the piece of paper. It looked quite normal to him. He shrugged. He reached out his arm and gently took the piece of paper. It must've been something important if his father is asking him to hold it.

'Of course!" she remarked. It may have came off a bit rude and sudden just blatantly asking out of nowhere. "Mother wishes to talk to him and I'm tasked with informing him about it. The only problem is after your conversation,I don't know where he headed off to. I assume you might know." she added.

Turns out she did interrupt something, or at least that's what she believed from Regina's "one moment" so she cut right to the chase.

Regina shook her head. "I'm afraid I am unaware. I left Tirik's-er-whatever you call that area he works in, and I did not see him leave. Though it could be that he is still there. I apologize that I am unable to give any more information."

William also took a piece of paper and held it. “This paper is from a rare tree that has magical properties. By concentrating magic to your fingertips and sending it into the paper, you’ll learn what time of magic you wield.” He said while demonstrating. “For example, if you specialize in fire magic the paper would burn up. But my magic is a little more unique” he explained. He concentrated magic into his fingertips and the paper started to fold, until it looked like a small scale. “Think you can do it?” He asked Noah. (You can just make up whatever magic you want :).)

"Oh,I see. Thank you and excuse my little intrusion." she chuckled as she started heading towards the exit. She hadn't walked more than four steps before coming to halt, walking back to Regina. "Uhm,could you perhaps give me some general directions?" she awkwardly smiled.

She doesn't remember ever setting foot in his workplace. Maybe when she was an infant but she wasn't too certain about it. She could only imagine what kind of sorcery and magic tricks were present there.

"Well, er, I was rather upset, so I don't remember the exact directions. But, if you like, I can get one of the palace guards to take you." Regina was all for ending this conversation here and now, she hated social interactions of any kind, for...reasons. "It wouldn't take long, and you could be at Tirik's door in no time."

Walking through the desolate halls that lined the edges of the walls on the main palace, Tirik allowed himself a shiver. Holding his arms out in front of him, he willed the blades to shoot forward, to become visible to any who might find him. As they did, Tirik cussed, willed one blade to come back, and held his head. Staring at the thin blade that was open, he gritted his teeth. To him, it was clear he'd need to find a way to dull the senses that were given. Sitting down hard, he listened to what the blade received. Fractures of conversation, far away. Footsteps everywhere in the building. Flicking the blade back in, Tirik frowned and stood, shaking his head slowly.

Joy nodded. "Yeah that would be great. Thank you!" She knew better than to stick her nose in other peoples' businesses so she didn't dare ask what happened between the two of them,no matter how curious she became. She couldn't bare standing next to her and not being able to ask.

"Actually,I'll just borrow one guard while I make my way out. I have already interrupted enough of your conversation with Philip to begin with." she said as she waved goodbye and began walking away. One near the exit would suffice.

"Wait, Princess!" He was sweating, somehow. Didn't he have a helmet on how could the sweat of nervousness show? Anyways. "I apologize deeply for leaving you, your majesty." He bowed yet again. "Please be careful."

"Oh?" she turned around noticing Philip. "Please. You needn't apologise. You have your own duties and tasks to tend to, since you're a knight busy protecting our wonderful kingdom. Keep up the wonderful work!" she cheered.

Not a long period of time had passed since she continued making her way towards the exit but she started getting a bit worried about Esmeralda. Hoping they would meet again soon she continued her prideful yet elegant stride towards the gate of the castle.

Regina watched the exchange. Hm...Phillip was taking responsibility for his actions. That was one good sign. Responsibilty and honesty were two things that Regina admired in people. Maybe he would make a good second in command. But she would wait and see, who knows what would happen?

"Excuse that general, I felt the need to apologise." He yet again bowed respectfully. "So... where were we?" His eyes sparkled, even Regina could tell that through the helmet. In a way, he truly shined when he did what he loved, and most of all he loved serving other people.

Regina nodded. "Right. And no need, taking responsibility is a good thing. Well, I hate to admit it, but I can't do everything on my own. I need someone's assistance. If I deem you fit, as second in command you'd assist me with my investigations, assigning patrols, and anything else I need help with. Do you think you can handle that?"

The group had finally arrived at their location, a moderately large and empty grassland about half a mile away from the castle and town. A few civilians watch the group work. Half the workers work on making benches while the rest work on the stage and prepping the tent and all the equipment. It's a lot of work, and they didn't have a lot of time to do it.
Charmer watched the group work, somehow managing to hide her stress. They were already behind, it took much longer than expected to travel to this kingdom and even more time to convince the guards to let them enter the kingdom. She smiles at Peter, who has just waltz up to her and put his arm around hers. He leads her away from the work.
"What are you doing?" Charmer asks with a small giggle.
"What!? Can't I take my wife out on a walk?" Peter asks innocently.
"You can and I appreciate it" she rests her head against his shoulder and they walk in silence for a moment before she asks: "Okay, what am I forgetting?"
"So you have forgotten why we are here!? Aren't you glad that I'm here?" Peter asks with a laugh.
"Oh yes, that's right! I remember now, we are going to the castle to-" she is quickly shushed by Peter, who places a hand over her mouth to muffle the rest of the sentence.
"Remember, it's supposed to be a surprise" he reminds Charmer. She giggles again and shakes her head.
"I'm sure everyone is going to be shocked" she replies

There was indeed a knight near the exit, a tall, muscular man in the identical uniform of the other knights. He stood slightly relaxed, his helmet on the ground next to him and his sword tucked away.

"Ma'am... it would be my honour!" he'd be bursting with joy right now, but she had just ask him not to scream and going up in the ranks would be amazing! Maybe with such a better position he could move into the city with Shou! Hopefully at least... whatever, he was thinking to himself for so long an awkward silence probably built up... what should he say... "So, when am I starting?" he asked very fast. Almost too fast, did Regina catch that? Hopefully it didn't sound like gibberish to her.

Regina sighed. "Right now, I suppose. I need all the help I can get, what with the threat of the king's assassination, and those two brothers that the High Preist asked me to keep an eye out for, and are so frustratingly elusive. Any ideas?"
