Charlie nodded and pointed to one of the better-looking tarts. "My hand is alright, thank you," she replied, smiling at the king. "It happens." She noted his nervous behavior and her smile faltered a little. Wasn't she supposed to be the nervous one here? "No worries about the pressure," she laughed, trying to make him feel a bit more comfortable. "Just the morning rush as usual!" Charlie paused to wave at the knights, motioning to the platter of croissants now laid out on the counter for them. "All ready, folks!"

Motion out of the corner of her eye revealed a fairly funny sight - the stranger was hiding behind Ava, away from the king, except he was much taller than her, so he was still quite easily spotted. What had the poor guy done to be so afraid of the king? He was in charge of the whole kingdom, yes, but he was fair and kind to his subjects. She shrugged and attempted to keep the king from noticing the pair. "How are you doing today, sir? I hope this morning finds you well."

Tirik placed a hand to his chest in mock surprise. "Wild? Never! If anything, the wildest thing in my workshop are the fireworks! Oh, that's right, you focus on your craft more than you do on enjoying it." A dismissive gesture, a sly smile. "If it's the beasts you worry about, I'll have you know that Summoners control everything they summon quite easily. Observe!" A quick hand motion, and the Summoner was gone. Brief flashes of his clothing could be seen, but never for more than a few seconds. Landing squarely on his feet after appearing near the ceiling, the Mage gave a slight wink to the apprentices. "Many beasts, many more talents, and even then, many more abilities." Holding a hand out, palm down, Tirik let out a shrill, quick whistle. Something leapt up from his shadow, stuck to his open palm, crawled up his arm and rested by his neck. "Quick the creature, eh?" He gave a winning smile to the apprentices, then turned to Opal. "Your turn. Impress us, my Mystic friend." An expectant look was in his eyes, but it wasn't anything positive. He was expecting Opal to mess up in some way, although he was fairly sure they wouldn't.

Regina arrived back at the castle once more. She made her way to the area of the grounds that were used specifically for training. She chose one of the dummies, drew her sword, and began to slash it. She trained for a good hour, then found a passing knight, who dueled against her. Even though she was tired, Regina was too in the moment and won easily. She picked up ber sword, sheathed it, and went to get her horse so she could take him back to the stables and then go back to training.

William extended his hand and took the plate that the tart was on. “My morning has been very nice, although I’m looking for a troublemaker at the moment” he said to Charlie. “Have you by chance seen a teenager with blonde hair and green eyes?” He asked her.

Charlie smiled to herself. So her hunch was correct - King William was indeed looking for the handsome stranger hiding behind Ava. How to play this out...she decided she'd rather have some fun. "Well sir, that describes several of my usual customers," she said, idly wiping some crumbs off of the counter. "May I ask whether you're looking for a young lady or a young man?"

Valentin can't decide whether he's impressed or scared by the conversation between the mages. They are both cool in their own way, but it is a bit strange seeing how they'll so easily compete over anything. He spares a glance to Kalinda, seeing if she has any reaction to this... "duel".



Thea can only gasp at the sight of the newly added drawing to her map. "That's sou awesome!!! I wouuuld never have thoøght I wouuld meet someooone so close by! We couuuld meet sømetime back hoooume!" Thea swears she's never smiled as much as right now. She can hardly grasp anything that's happening around her in the bakery.

“He’s a young man, about this tall” he said as he motioned a rough estimate of Noah’s height. William wanted to look around the bakery, but didn’t want to come off as rude.

Charlie hummed, pretending to think through a mental list of customers. She wanted to draw this out more - she could practically feel the stranger sweating up a storm in the corner of the room. "I had three gentlemen about that height in the past few days come here. Are you able to give me a name? If not that's alright - it would just help narrow it down." She smiled at the king. "I only know one of their names, but if it's him, then the name will tell me so. If not, we can go by outfit." While she was playing this up, what she said was true. There was a fellow named Amos who came by every now and then, and a man she was new to came in the other day, and then of course, the stranger in the corner.

William nodded, “His name is Noah. I don’t actually know what he is wearing today. It’s no trouble if you haven’t seen him. I’ll just look around more” he said to Charlie while paying for the tart and leaving a generous tip.

Opal seems to be taken aback for a quick second but they quickly compose themselves. "I see what you are trying to do here..." they say as their usual smile is placed onto their face once again "You are attempting to impress them through showmanship, a commendable attempt I have to say. Sadly my art isn't built to impress, so do not expect any insane showmanship to occur." They say in a very saddened tone "But-" they suddenly continue "The spiritual trip which this journey invokes is so personal and eye-opening that I genuinely believe will even out the lack of pazzaz. If I may demonstrate" They say as they put both their hands in front of them, cupping them together as the orb starts levitating once again, emitting the same blue light as before. "I could help guide you through these realms, prepare you for anything that comes our way" They say in a cheery tone and a wide smile on their face. Suddenly the orb lets out a small vibration as the peaceful sound of windchimes is heard, for a brief second everyone in the room is met with a beautiful visage of various realms, its a moment of absolute purity as it feel like a look into ones on self. This illusion varies slightly from person to person in order to properly represent their own self. As the illusion comes to an end, the orb that was previously there is replaced with a deck of cards as they ask one singular question "May I give you a reading?".

Noah inched as quietly as he could to the door. As soon as he was in the entrance to the bakery, he bolted out and ran out into the town. He ran towards a random shop and hid behind it.

Kalinda is amazed by what she has seen. She looks over at Valentin to see his reaction.

Cooper reaches the princesses. He looks at them and holds out the tray. Pick up the teacups so I can leave already. He thinks.

"I'd love that! I am open anytim- no wait.... I'm always in the city on guard.... hopefully someday though!" Phillip moves at the speed of sound* 15 to get his croissants and brings them on the table. "But for now, we can enjoy these together!" he says waiting for Thea to try some.

Now Regina was as bored as she could be. She decided one more trip to the city wouldn't hurt. So, she got her horse back, and went back. Of course it was in boredom! It was not because she was lonely. Absolutely not. She refused that thought to enter her mind. All she was doing was curing boredom. On Blazen's back, she headed into the city, stopping once to tie him to a post. Walking past a shop, she noticed someone ducking behind it. Eyes narrowed, she followed after them. Then, she stopped. "What did you do this time, Prince Noah?"

"o-OH UH" the moment Ava noticed Noah run and scrambled to their bag, yelling out "PLAN B" before chucking a handful of glitter in their place and immediately running behind Noah, coughing a little and rubbing their eyes. Glitter isn't the best thing to throw around. "SLOW DOWN, NOAH!"
They hid with Noah and started panting again, catching their breath before speaking "you should really warn me before we run, I'm not the most athletic" they pointed out their twink build

Regina was not surprised. "So Prince Noah is partners with Ava the Jester? Not surprised." She put a hand on her hip. "So, what is it that you were running from exactly?"

Charlie was about to respond when she heard Ava shout. The next thing she saw was glitter. Everywhere. A storm of glitter, and then Ava and the stranger - Noah, she guessed - was gone. "Uh, well, I don't know anyone by the name of Noah," she stammered slightly, turning her eyes away from the sight. "But if it helps, a gentleman fitting your description just left," Charlie said, gesturing in the direction that the young man had escaped to.

Joy clapped a few times upon seeing the butler holding the tray with the teacups. She grabbed both and passed the other one to Esmeralda. "Let's have a seat while we drink. I hope you've thought of where to go once we finish.Thank you Cooper~!" she dismissed him as she sat in the nearest chair she found. After just one sip,a very delightful feeling of pleasure from the warmth of the tea and its flavour coursed through Joy's mouth. She definitely felt as if her day was about to start. "Do you reckon Elliot has found and scolded Noah by now?"

Regina raised an eyebrow. "Oh really? So today is just a day for hiding behind shops? Maybe I should tell your father where I last saw you, he's been searching for you, you know," she called out, trying to hide a smirk. Maybe she should go after him...or maybe she should let him believe he could run from his problems. She was most definitely following him, though.

Capturing Kalinda's eyes, Valentin sighs. Of course she'd be amazed by it. He folds his arms and watches Opal begin their part of the duel. This should be... interesting, or whatever.



Thea sinks into her chair. "That's real unfortunate. I could've showed you my favourite spot on the farm - even my dad doesn't knøw about it!"
She claps in her hands as he brings the croissants to the table. "Oh, absolutely wonderful! Thank you both for this, honestly. I'm going back home tonight... presumably, but I wish I could stay forever with this kind of food!" She takes a bite. She knows something is happening in the bakery, but with enough patience, a woman can ignore any sounds, she comforts herself.
