Reye began circling, using natural gift again. She was tempted to go for the flinch trick, but that would take too much energy. Besides, she supposedly was supposed to do a rumble mission later.

After the battle ended Shade went to the fake tree and used Iron Tail on it, not even a dent...

Ace stepped out of his house, standing by his door as he gave a quiet, but rather large yawn. Rubbing at his cheek a little, the Croagunk started to make his way towards the town center to meet for his first rumble mission. Butterflies seemed to swarm in his stomach, making his both nervous and excited at the same time. When he arrived he saw the tree destroyed. That was odd. Shade seemed to disappear into the ground though as he got closer he noticed a staircase. "What happened here?"

"Wait this whole time it was a fake!" Ace seemed shocked by this. He didn't even really care they postponed the mission. This seemed so cool and mysterious. "All right then! I can't wait!"

Reye sighed. "I love how your first instict when you see mysterious stairs is to go down them..." She proceeded to go down. She had no choice, perhaps they would find the exit?

Ace descended down the stairs, looking at everything. He slid his goggles off of his eyes, resting them around his neck. "This is super weird. Kinda like something you'd read in a book." The bipedal frog spoke softly as he followed behind Shade.

"Shoot! What do we do!" Ace shouts, slightly entering a panic. Pausing for a moment, Ace charged at the wall, using Poison Jab in hopes of breaking through. This seriously couldn't be the start to his first adventure.

Shade finds a vent and seeing as it is the only way they can both go he heads into the vent,eventually he falls out at a large gaping hole of dark matter "What is that?"
