Slick was now hiding in a bush. He hadn’t really met anybody else, so he was still scared of mostly everyone but Shade.

“I-It’s nice to meet you.” Slick said, fully coming out of the bush. He went over to where Shade and Reye were and smiled a little bit. He took the cup of tea with his small hand and drank a sip.

Meti hurried to his secret lab hidden under a huge mushroom in the forest and began seperating the rare items. He came out with 2 red, 5 yellow, and 1 blue asteroid and 3 star pieces as well as a mysterious item that hummed whenever he approached it.

Slick stayed silent, listening to the conversation. He hadn’t told his story to Reye yet, or Shade. He didn’t like telling people about where he came from.

Slick shivered a bit. “I don’t know who that was. They were scary though. I didn’t like it though. The Buneary attacked us.” he said, then sipped some more tea. It made him feel calm.
