She would pass through a great grassland, and yellow flowers dotted the fields as far as the eye can see, even reaching the hills around them. All around her...there was yellow flowers growing everywhere...there was a very peaceful vibe in this area...
This was known as the 'Dreamland'. It's said that this place is where one is in tune with nature, where the souls of the weary can rest in peace...and walk the earth free of burden.
A few hours later, she would reach the port town of Kailua. The town had a very tropical vibe to it, with wooden housing, tiki towers, yet there were other buildings made of stone. The town was the link to other continents, by ferry. While there wasn't much to note of this town, however, there was a large wooden statue of a Lucario, in an outfit similar to that of a pirate captain. Next to it statue of a Mew. The plaque on the first statue read 'Captain Tenko, founder of Port Kailua. May she run free along with Saint Drake, the Mew of Harvest." There was also a large temple on the hill overlooking the sea. It's said that the founder of the village rested in peace there.
However, as she got into town, her eyes widened with delight, nose twitching and eyes bright. Everything about it seemed to distract her, and she was frozen for a minute in front of the Lucario statue before her focus came back. "Right. Let's go," she muttered. Rushelle knew that she was looking for a ship or something along that line. She had to get to Lucky Town. But where would she find it? Her eyes were already looking around, feet moving soon after.
While boats were starting to become more of a norm, as an effort to not force Lapras out of their jobs, most of them in the business moved onwards to become workers and captains of the boats.
The ferry to the Water Continent, to Lively Town was an overnight one. Yung had given her money for the ferry ticket, which she can buy at the harbour.
There was only one ferry at this time. It was headed to Lively Town
The second floor had a basic restaurant, as well as a viewing deck. Ferries weren’t too advanced yet at this day and age, but it was a still a pleasant experience.
It was very standard room. Nothing like Emerald's room with the balloons and bubbles...a fairly normal room.
The ferry would set off soon.
Now for the things Yung and Emerald had packed for her. Obviously there was a letter and money and food. There was also a small wrapped gift for Conrad, there was a scarf for Rushelle… and Emerald had snuck in a giant deflated balloon in there too.
There was a small card on the desk. That was a breakfast card, but it could also be used to get a free box of snacks from the vending machine near the cafeteria.
