"Got it, the portal," Rushelle said, standing up. She took a shaky
breath. "I'm ready to go, I think I rememeber where the portal is
that I took here."
He nodded and took her to the portal where she would be beamed
downwards to the Forest of Beginnings. Ahead was the lush forest,
where it was easy to camp out in. Hence the name given...it was a
beginner's experience of surviving in the wild
Rushelle stepped forward, feeling strange at the change of tread
under her feet. But she'd get used to it soon. She made sure the
letter was secure, just as she always had done with other packages.
She tried to make sure this one was tight and secure.
The forest was large... but the paths were clear. A signpost
read:
West: Mountain of Tribulation
East: Forest Temple
South: River Temple, route to Kailua Town
North: Grove of the Heavens.
She had just come from the North path. As that was the path leading
towards Luminia
Rushelle read the signpost sevreal times over carefully, murmuring
to herself. She remembered what Yung had said. The first stop would
be Kailua Town, sailing from there to Lively Town. Taking a breath,
she headed South.
The forest was fairly calm, only the sounds of the water could be
heard... the path was also paved and just a little off the path
were the occasional berry trees. Mostly common berries.
Treading along the path, Rushelle kept looking around, one paw on
the letter. The berries reminded her of Emerald and Yung, which
made her heart drop a little, but she gave a deterimined sigh and
kept going forward.
She would soon come across a small delta...a collection of brookes
that ran across the forest. She would come by the River Temple
however the path moved onwards. The exit to the forest would be
ahead...
Rushelle stopped for a minute to catch her breath. Making sure that
the letter was still safe and secure, she tried to remember what
Yung had said. If she had to sail from Kailua Town to Lucky Town,
then the River Temple would be on route. She would just have to
keep following the path.
Rushelle quickly backed away. While she was startled by the
Greedent, her senses kicked in and she was aware of what was going
on. "I'm afraid I'll have to decline," she said carefully, keeping
the letter tucked away. She was fully prepared to fight the
Greedent, but wondered if she couldn't outrun him.
Rushelle hadn't been expecting the attack so quickly, so it knocked
her down. Glancing once at the letter, she sighed, "You asked for
it." Once the letter was secure, she used both of her paws to
create an Aura Sphere, launching it at the Greedent.
Direct Hit, one hit knockout. Who knew why this Greedent thought
they had to steal to get food around here...? They were known for
being extremely greedy though...the path was clear
Rushelle was surprised. "That was quick," she said, but she
couldn't afford to lose time. Especially since that Greedent was
most likely not the only one out there. She continued the way she
was going, but this time, on higher alert.
She now had reached the quite the open plains...the Savannah of the
Free Runners. She could see all sorts of pokemon running about
here, frolicking. There were some sources of water here and
there.
"Glad I got out of there without any further intteruptions,"
Rushelle said cheerfully. She had never seen a place so large and
expanse, all of this nature. She took a couple of steps forward,
unsure wether or not she'd be intterupted again, but her main
priority was finding Kailua Town.
