Nightfall was thinking of the Kingdom of the Sand. He thought about the tunnels that connected it to the Tainforest and the old NightWing Island, that was destroyed by a volcano.

Nightfall didn’t really have anything to pack up, so he just stayed where he was. He was just thinking about raccoons and how annoying they were, so Moon wouldn’t read his animus thoughts, but some slipped through because he wasn’t a pro at blocking mind readers.

Nightfall looked at the skyfire and said, “I-I’m good.” He didn’t wanna look even more suspicious with the special rock that shielded thoughts from mind readers. He changed his mind and said, “Th-thanks.” and then put it in his flamesilk pouch. It hid his mind.

Nightfall has the skyfire. It was in the flamesilk pouch that Ankha gave him when he first arrived. He had never been to the Kingsom of the Sand before, so he only knew there would be sand, and other deserty stuff.
