Class A-1 of the Monarch Academy are heading out on a school trip to an ancient history museum. Having been split into their groups, prior to arriving at their destination, the students are free to wander the building before meeting back up with the rest of the class for lunch. But when group 5 enter one area of the museum, one of the artefacts that arrived just a couple years ago, suddenly begins to emit a bright light. It's never done this before. The museum is evacuated and the trip is cut short.
A week later, a professor from the museum arrives at the school. They've done some research and they think that group 5 might have been the cause of the strange phenomenon...
The Thylux Kingdom resides in a realm far, yet close, to Earth. It's a peaceful place, rarely any war. The people here are genuinely happy with their current ruler: Queen Clara Galateale, holder of the Thylux Tear, bringer of the city's light.
That was until she met and fell for the charm of one of her soldiers. Presenting himself as 'Viktar', the two wed a little after a year of being together. However, ask any of the royal staff, and they'll speak of the apparent rumours of pressure that the soldier put on the Queen to deepen their relationship. Whatever happened, the people of Thylux could see the usually cheery aura the Queen radiated slowly extinguish.
Then, the pregnancy was announced and the Queen appeared to have gained back her bubbliness. The city was, naturally, pleased to hear the news of their soon-to-arrive future ruler, showering the royal couple with gifts. But on the day of the birth, a dark storm erupted over the land.
"Give me the damn crystal!"
Shreaks echoed throughout the castle halls. A blinding light flooding through the windows, combating the freak weather. Then silence.

I'll begin by saying that I'll - strictly - only be accepting four other characters.
I would love for this to be taken slowly/comfortably so that characters can have more meaningful interactions.
I'm basing this rp on a cartoon series (specifically season 1) I used to love: W.I.T.C.H.
You don't really have to know anything about it, nor do all the characters have to be female.

Sentence/paragraph format please, doesn't have to be detailed but refrain from overusing one-liners.
One character per user for the time being
Character ages will automatically be 16 for plot purposes
I won't be accepting duplicate powers, but you can choose from:
Quintessence* (energy/electricity), Fire, Earth, Water and Air
Try not to be super OP with your powers~
Also for plot purposes, no relationships between characters but if you want to control an NPC for such, that's totally fine!
*Quintessence will, eventually, hold onto the Thylux Tear so I'll be picky about who gets it, sorry ;w;

McQueen is a pale girl, standing at around 5'3. She has violet eyes and lavender hair, often kept in a low ponytail, which is shorter at the front and is (almost) as long as she is tall at the back.
Personality:
She is proud to have the Mejiro family name and aspires to be as good of an athlete as her older sisters, mother and even grandmother were. McQueen works tirelessly to keep up her abilities, due to this pride. However, her pride can often be misinterpreted. Along with her, usually, blunt attitude, anyone who doesn't know her could easily see her as egotistical or bratty. Despite how cold she may initially seem, McQueen does have a caring streak, helping out where possible, and enjoys setting up and partaking in charity fundraising events.

Appearance: (Image or description is fine) He as messy short black hair, black eyes, white t-shirt, black jacket with white grayish sleeves, blue jeans and dark nike shoes.
Personality: (Flaws and strengths please) He is loyal to his friend and very caring willing to put help his friends first before his and stubborn, you could say he is a Capricorn. For this reason he very doubtful of himself every time and scared to think that his friend will leave needing reassuring most of the time.

Character Name: Derek Vlaanheren
Gender: Male
Appearance: His build is that of an athlete's, suited for long runs and heavy hits. He's a little taller than average, but not by much, and his shoulders are broad and his body steadfast. His hair is dark, usually in a crew cut, and his eyes are brown as well.
Personality: S: He has an iron will, and will stick with what he believes until a truth that trumps his own is presented. He's friendly to those that are considered the "nerds" and commonly mouths off about those who are considered the "jocks". W: He has some issues with temper, as well as an inability to sit still for long. He's not used to being lied to, so he'll believe nearly anything.
Known Family: His father, David, his mother, Julia, and his younger brother, Seth.

Character Name: Rednowa 'Red' Moolreigh
Gender: Female
Appearance: She is a small girl, her build best described as 'childish'; thin shoulders and waist, strung with very little muscle, more of a thinker than a fighter. Her large, crimson eyes dominate her face, which is half-covered by her dirty blond hair, hanging low at her hips.
For her outfit, she is usually seen wearing a pastel blue hoodie, which conceals her form and hair, and has the word 'jay' printed onto the front of it inside a white box. She also wears baggy, denim-blue jeans, which are frayed at the knee.
Personality: Strengths: She is seen as a rather shy girl, with not much to say about anything. This is a misjudgement, though; she is actually very bubbly and excitable, but only shows this when among people she trusts. When she eventually warms up to people, her trust is unbreakable.
Flaws: She prefers to keep information to herself rather than sharing it, mostly for fear of overworking people around her, or allowing them to overcome her in a battle of minds. However, she would share any objects she had to the point of her own demise - her selflessness expands to the point of idiocy. Her natural tendency towards ignorance could also be seen as a flaw.
Known Family: Her Grandmother, Diane, her father, Herold, and her pregnant mother, Adora.
