Two teams, Sinners and Banditos. Your job is t-
The recording stopped there.
Today you will make the choice;
To stay or leave.
Bandito or Sinner.

Plot
Show hidden content
You live in a dystopian community, separated into two halves - Banditos and Sinners. When they're seventeen, the people there choose which side they will live out the rest of their life in. Nobody knows how the conflict between these two 'illuites' started, and nobody knows what would happen if it stopped.

The recording is on a small camera, which is transferred onto a projector, so all can see it whenever they wish. Where the recording came from, nobody knows, as nobody knows when or where it was filmed. The video is of a young male with blond hair shaved close to his skull, and a feirce look in his eyes.

This roleplay begins the night before you choose which illuite you will live in, late. You may be thinking about which side you will go to, or you may already have decided - either way, you know that whatever you choose, you won't be safe. The tension between the illuites are higher than normal, for a reason nobody can pinpoint.

Scenery

This is set in dirty, underground sewers, with sludge up to your ankles. Very few animals roam around down here - mostly diseased rodents, with the occasional small mammal. Those are scarce, though, so you savour every bit of food you can find. The only light comes from very few dim bulbs hanging from the ceiling, or torches and fires.

The Bandito's base is a raised slab of stone, surrounded by a tall, spiked, wooden fence. The only entrance is through a gate, which is always guarded by at least four Banditos. The inside is tightly packed with wooden buildings - though the important ones are made of stone - and bustling with activity. A notable place could be the 'Tirety', which is their... Castle of sorts - a large, solid, stone building, in the direct center of the area. It has a raised middle, so it can see over the fence, and heavy defenses. Other areas include the market, barracks, armoury, smiths, housing district and gardens - which have very little plants in them.

The Sinner's base is an extremely deep dip, with a slightly raised platform in the middle. Gushing sewer water surrounds it, with it's source as the numerous tunnels that poke our from the walls above the platform, each with some sort of way down and up on it - stairs, ladders, rope. This base is surrounded by a thick web of barbed wire, and has a rusty metal roof covering the entire camp, supported by wooden beams. Below this mostly consists of houses and arenas, very well-lit. You will know if you're near here by the noise - there's always shouting, singing, screaming, music, or any other form of loud sounds.

The meeting place is a large circle of sorts, with stairs going down into the center of it, where a flat circle rests. It is here that people choose with Illuite they will go to, and here that meetings between the clans occur. This has often been seen as a safe place; the Illuites have agreed that whilst there, they shall not fight. Sometimes people ignore this, which usually ends in severe punishments and numerous wars.

The technology here is extremely underdeveloped, as well as rare. There are next to no technicians, engineers or scientists here, which is why technological advancement moves so slowly. Guns are few - about four between the Illuites - and phones aren't a thing. Metals are mined from holes in the walls, but are also very limited.

Banditos
Show hidden content
Banditos are generally seen as more defensive and reclusive, waiting for the enemy to come to them, then taking them out when they least expected it. They make their people work for money to trade for food, strongly believing in the quote, 'Only the strong will survive'.

Most of them dress in the clothes of your common outlaw - something covering their mouth, a long coat, many pockets for storing things. Those with less money have very basic hairstyles - a simple ponytail, short spiky hair, bedheads - whereas those with more money will have more intricate ones, such as a plait or mohawk. They do not dye their hair, unless it is dyed into a natural or dark color.

Their leader is someone called Yilla Verhenburg, a 21-year-old lady with a blond plait, a long, leather, brown coat and black, worn jeans. A grey mask covers her face below her nose, and she always looks stern, defensive, and ready to fight. She is muscular with cold blue eyes, but other than that, a plain, forgettable face is what people see. She resides in the Tirety, and her only known living family is her brother, Durhun Verhenburg, who is the general of the Bandito army. The lead Smith is an extremely muscular man nicknamed 'Lorry', thought nobody knows what a lorry is. Their elder is a 44-year-old man with very little hair, who barely moves as a result of his age. His wisdom, though, is unmatched. An old lady called Blithe Tain runs the Berry Market, and a bearded man named Grier D'Frere runs the bakery. There are several other stores, such as the butchery, but these are rather expensive.

Banditos generally fight with daggers, bows and arrows, spears and sticks, and prefer stealthy, silent attacks, rather than straight out force. They plan everything they do carefully, which is why they have come to be known as the wiser of the Illuites.

Sinners
Show hidden content
The Sinners have realised that because of their ongoing conflict with the Banditos, their lives will be short, and probably spent doing nothing. So, at least two hundred years ago, they decided to stop taking life so seriously, if it would end in such short time. They have as much fun as possible in their short lives, which are sometimes ended hy their ignorance of living. Their purpose is to live life to it's fullest, even if that life is only seventeen years long. They are seen as rash, crazy and stupid, on account of them not thinking about what they do.

Sinners dress in anything they wish to - jeans, dresses, no shirts, wooly coat. It varies from day to day. They see themselves as rebels, so usually get tattoos or piercings, and do whatever they like with their hair. Everyone is equal here, all living in the same houses, the same amount of money for all of them. They also share whatever food they get equally, not allowing anyone to take more than they're rationed.

Their leader, who is the only person with an actual job there, is a 22-year-old boy with wavy blond hair, who usually goes around with only jeans on, revealing his tattooed, muscular chest. His smile is arrogant, as are his actions, and he is often seen in arenas, fighting other Sinners for fun - in which he is always the victor. The other positions in this Illiute are somehwta shared; everyone here is viciously trained at everything, so they can take whatever job nobody else is doing at that time.

Sinners tend to fight with swords, fists, shields, nunchucks, boomerangs, or any weapon you could think of - they are skilled at all melee weapons. Their attack plan is.. Well, they don't have one - they charge into wherever they're raiding, not thinking about what may be inside or the consequences they could have to face. They are, because of this, seen as barbarians, without a care in the world.

Rules & Stuff
Show hidden content
- All ph rules apply.
- I can't be bothered to write them, so all basic roleplay rules apply.
- If you recognise the names of the Illuites, no, they have nothing to do with the roleplay.
- No powers. Summoning will be introduced later.
- Your character could be the complete opposite of whatever Illuite they're in. I don't really care. Plus that would make it more exciting.
- Anyone can control the npcs. Just stick to their personalities.
- To make sure you've read the rules, Password is your McDonald's order.

Name Tycho Pathen
Appearance

Personality She is paranoid, and often doubts everything. In dangerous situations, she remains calm and tends to take the lead if others fail to. If people don't like her ideas, she'll listen to theirs, and usually deny that theirs are better than hers - and they aren't. Her intelligence intimidates some, and influences others; she is a sort of Bandito prodigy.
Starting Illuite Bandito
Primary Weapon Daggers, though she rarely uses them.
Secondary Weapon Chains
Spirit Creature Basilisk

Name Ashen Diggery
Appearance
Personality Despite his Illuite, he is actually a rather quiet boy, though he will speak up if defending something he cares about. He is naturally kind; if he saw someone in trouble, he would help, no matter the circumstances. He tends to stay with people - he hates being alone, as he hates not being able to help. He'd rather observe than fight, but if it was him or someone he cared about that had to fight, he would step up.
Starting Illuite Sinner
Primary Weapon Chokes, wristlocks, holds; hand-to-hand combat.
Secondary Weapon He can use a gun, but guns are rare, so none.
