Fortem stepped to the side. "I think you and Yung deserve some time
to hang out and talk," he said. "I'll leave you to it then! I'm
going to check on my home quickly, but I'll be back soon." He gave
everyone a grin, before stepping outside and jogging towards the
castle.
“...I forgive you...since you came back...” He murmured. “Now I
just need to get my cape back too...but this is alright...” He
hadn’t stopped crying as he returned the nuzzle
If Drake looked around, pink blossom was falling around them...
“...Death really isn’t something you can escape from.” He looked
away. “Not back then...not now. Not ever...” He looked at his paws.
“The gift from my son...it’s gone now.”
Drake tilted his head a bit “.....I....I caused you so much hurt.
And pain. Yet... you haven’t left my side. By now you should have
casted me aside and called me a monster. But you still haven’t. I
still have problems understanding that...” he looked up “But it’s
because of that I won’t ever stay down. I care about you. So, if
there’s something you want, no matter what it is, please let me do
something for you.” He looked... determined
“...live. That’s all really.” He sighed. “No matter how long you
live...no matter if you live 10 years or millenia...life is
precious.” He smiled sadly. “So don’t you dare die on me again.”
“You can’t put a currency on life. I can put a currency on most of
my possessions...but not life. Never life.” He said sternly. “And
it isn’t something to be discsrded.”
“You... all you want is for me to live?” It came out like a
whisper. It had been over a thousand years since he had heard those
words. Of all the kindness Yung had shown him, those words seemed
to break him.
“That’s all really...it’s a shame that...we don’t get to have fun
together...the things we love together more...but you’re alive. And
that’s all I need...”
