Fortem grabbed both his friends, hugging them while taking some
much deserved deep breaths, broken up by some laughter as well.
"That was quite the adventure..." Fortem stated, looking up at the
brilliant blue sky.
Fortem was thinking the same thing. He basked in the sun, relaxing
for the first time in almost a month. It felt nice to be with his
friends... "So, what now?" He asked Hiro and Emerald. After that
huge fight, everything else seemed small... what do you do when the
battle's over?
"I guess... after all that chaos, some relaxing sounds good..."
Fortem paused. "I probably have to get back to knight training, but
I'll still have lots of free time to hang out and explore... I
might check out the school of magic, and I heard Yung say something
about another island before. Lots of things to do." He smiled.
"Yeah, that could be fun," Fortem answered. "It would be nice to
visit that Ocean Temple town again," He admitted, standing up.
"Should we go check on your dad and Ares, maybe?"
Fortem nodded, stretching for a few seconds before leaping off the
bubble onto a stone edge platform leading to some stairs so he
didn't need to fall off the huge, wobbly orb. He'd gotten more
confident in his abilities; two weeks ago, he would feel nervous
standing on even one of his stones. "Lets see, then!" He called to
Emerland, leaving the staircase up for him.
"Nice landing," Fortem commented as Emerald touched the ground. He
began strolling - leisurely for once - towards the hospital, right
beside his Riolu friend. As he opened the door, he couldn't believe
his eyes. It couldn't be! "Drake!" Fortem called out, pouncing
gently onto the mew. "Don't do that again! I thought you were
gone!p, and I didn't even get to see you when you left!" He
ordered, voicing his thoughts loudly. Despite his stern tone, he
was grinning from ear to ear.
