He didn't address her second question, however, almost like he didn't hear it. In truth, he didn't feel like it was his place to speak to Nova about Gateguard's past. He had already overstepped by divulging Gateguard's situation already and he couldn't break Gateguard's trust in him any further

(I'm just putting this here in spoilers cause i have no idea if i'm crossing any lines.)

Leaf laid on the ground, sobbing as
tears dripped from her face. She couldn’t believe it, she’d let it
happen again! Cap stood up and zipped up his fly, once he finished,
he shook a little. “Wow it felt good to finally do that.” Cap
looked at Leaf who was crying and began to mock her. “Aww, are you
sad because I retook your innocence? Or are you scared of my little
treat?” Cap walked up to Leaf and took out her gag. “Call me your
master.” Leaf began to tremble in fear but gave no response. Cap
smiled and hit her in the face to shut her up. “You think I want to
hit you? Huh? No I don't, so call me your master.” Leaf shook her
head and Cap hit her again. “CALL ME YOUR MASTER NOW!!”
Leaf! Fight back, I know you can! Give this mother f*cker what he desvres! The voice screamed at her.
I can’t, I’m not like that. Leaf thought somberly. I’m not violent.
The voice in Leaf’s head sighed. Fine. Don’t. If you won’t, I will.
Thyme stop! Don’t do this!
Don’t worry, I’m not going to hurt your friends.
Leaf looked at him with a fiery rage in her eyes. Or at least they thought it was Leaf, but when did her eyes turn purple? As Leaf stood her hair turned black as coal and she stared him down, a total one eighty for someone who's just been assaulted. Cap started to say something when Leaf suddenly jabed her hand through Cap’s armored chest and straight through him, in her hand was his heart. Cap’s face twisted in shock and pain. For a moment Leaf stayed like that before ripping her arm back to her side with the heart still clutched in her hand like a vice. Blood gushed from the hole in Cap’s chest as he collapsed to the ground but yet he wasn’t dead, not yet.
Leaf looked down at him. “You think it’s funny dont you? Violating girls just to help you get your rocks off. You’re disgusting.” Leaf’s voice was gruffer but yet still remained femine. It clicked. This was not Leaf, or at least not the Leaf they knew. Without warning she started squesign the heart and Cap started gasping and wheezing until the important muscle burst in “Leaf’s” hand, slaying Cap. The other Peacekeepers raised their guns at “Leaf” but she held a hand up as if saying ‘stop’ and they froze in place.
Cut the strings of hope.
Catastrophic deeds.
Burn all means to cope,
And set the spirit free.
Wither and decay.
End this destiny.
Break these earthly chains,
And set the spirit free.
The spirit free...
The Peacekeepers started dropping their guns, coughing and gagging like they had been gassed. Or couldn't breath. Yet “Leaf” walked to them unphased, still saying the inchantion. Over, and over, and over until they stopped moving. She then looked at the other tributes and with a smile she stomped the ground, the cages dacitevated and the others could get out unharmed.

Nova stood in the center of a large room in front of a medium sized screen, which was at the moment showing static. The others were off to the side as they waited for some sort of feedback from the District 13 leader of the group that included Harlow to free the tributes. The tension was high and one could easily cut it with knife. Nova glanced back at the Coin and her subrep John. What were they going to do if he didn't pick up? Nova turned back and tryied agin. "President Snow, it's me Nova. Don't you want to talk to me, I need to speak with you."
The leader, Jackson Harlow had heard someone say, was already looking at this team fully equiped to resuce the tributes captured. "Remember. We're here to get the tributes and get out, no funny bussiness or when we get back to thriteen you'll be deicplened. This is not a game and the certianly as hell isn't training. Is that clear?" Jackson barked and a collective 'Yes sir!' responded back. "Good, then let's go."
"Leaf" and the other tributes were running donw the halls, her and Adelaide were killing Peacekeepers left and right as they tryied to find their path of escape.
Tempest could hear fighting down the hallway. A sad smile appears on her face. Was this a rescue mission? Or was this more torture? She shuts her eyes, waiting for the moment when someone will burst in here. Whoever it was, good or bad, she would regret not killing Snow when she had the chance. She should've ran across the stage and killed him. She would've died, but at least she would've taken the devil himself down with her.
Nova hadn't expected him to pick up, but now that he had there was no hiding or running. Her main objective was to stall for time. "I never asked for this, and neither did the tributes. Let them go and you'll never have to see or hear from me again." A thought came to Nova. "Or if that doesn't satisfy you, let them go and take me instead. After all, I've been causing all the headaches for you and Panem."
Tempest was just as confused as Harlow about Leaf's appearance. She was thrown slightly backwards by the stun grenade. She clenches her teeth and let out a pained groan when she landed. She had no idea that the Rebels were on her side. She was forced to lay there with a pounding heart, waiting for Peacekeepers to come and finish them off. She physically relaxes when she spots Harlow.
"You took long enough, and yes, it really is me. I'm rather surprised you still remember me even though you were more focused my sweet and naive sister. Trying to get some. . .how do they call it? Booty call?" Thyme spat venomilsly at Harlow looking her up and down, she started walking around Harlow getting a full view of her sister's lover. She finally stopped when she ws back in her spot and looked at Harlow with a hard to read expression. "If you wanted to save us then where the f*ck were you when Leaf was being forced to pay her dues? In this District Thriteen trying to get laid?"
The look on Harlow's face looked hurt and anger, to this Thyme just laughed but then cut it off abrutly. "You have no idea what Leaf is like, do you? You think she's so d*mn perfect. Do you know how I'm here?" She closed the distance between herself and Harlow until they were within arm's reach of the other. "When Fern was just born Leaf made a deal with me. She'd willingly let me share her body in exchange that I never try to posses Fern."
Harlow shook her head. "You're lying. Possessions are just myths. If you've hurt her-"
Thyme chuckled at Harlow's response. "I will have to applaud on your assumption, however. These "temporary blackouts" have proven to be very useful windows, it seems. On the contrary..." Thyme trailed off. "I've done no harm to your beloved Leaf, or at least not with any intention. But if I've somehow caused you or her some sort of distress, my sincerest apologies are addressed." She smiled somewhat saddly though Harlow wasn't sure if Thyme was generaly regertful about this. "Possessions do tend to be quite tricky. It's a dreadful, yet necessary action, I'm afraid."
"Then why don't you?" Harlow asked.
"But that's only making Leaf's screams and pleas for mercy on you more louder and more unbearable..." The woman sneered. "Do tell me. How is it that she's so willing to kill herself to save something so negligible and insignificant...like you? Entice me, what do you see in her. . .or more likely, what does she see in you? Something so easily broken." She removed ehr hand from Harlow's throat and gave Harlow some room to breath.

From the moment that she'd escaped her cell, pounced on those Peackeepers who'd tormented her and her comrades, Adelaide had felt alive. Now that there was nothing restricting her abilities from blossoming, the raw strength that she normally took for granted in her being raced out like water from a burst dam. And while Leaf - or Thyme's - fae power rendered the Peacekeeprs unable to breathe, Adelaide snapped their necks in her bare hands. It wasn't very common that she got so close to her prey, but it was refreshing nonetheless; to feel each of their lives bleed out by her hand. Especially after what they'd done to Leaf, and to the rest. It was unforgivable. She had also taken Tempest on her shoulder, since the shifter was apparently too weak to live up to her abilities.
For some reason, this little endeavor reminded her all too well to that night in the woods; when she'd faced against those mobs at night with her allies. They were together again, weren't they? Adelaide couldn't help but feel disconnected from both, especially Gateguard. Yes, yes, she knew she shouldn't expect much more from anyone really. The Games were over, and in the end they all went their seperate ways.

"Let's move out!" Jackson called out as he and the rest of the team including Harlow helped the tributes up.
"If any of us is the enemy it's you. You claim to love and care for us, but you force us watch year after year as our loved ones die for your enjoyment!" Nova stated, her voice slowly rising in anger and fury, the same thing that had landed her as the role of the Mockingjay, Nova herself though hadn't realized until now just the full exent of the said power that Nova held, which both Snow and Coin were afraid of. "You killed a shelter full of wounded and unarmed men, women, and children when you dropped those firebombs on them! There were no survivors! And if we burn, you burn with us!"
Tempest follows everyone, her gaze cloudy as she walks. She should feel something... excitement to be saved, relief to be freed, at the very least, she should be happy. Instead she feels indifferent. What exactly was she returning to? A war? At least here she had something to fight for. Her survival and urge to fight was like a middle finger to the Capitol. She notices Gateguard and silently walks over to him. Bruises and scars litter the poor girl's body, but the most concerning part would be her emotionless expression.
