Some spoilers can be pretty long. After opening and reading the
spoiler, you might want to hide the spoiler again. You will have to
scroll all the way up just to hide the spoiler. This can be kinda
annoying to do if you do it pretty frequently.
So maybe "Hide content" can also be added to the bottom of opened
spoiler? This way you do not have to scroll back up if the spoiler
is long. Clicking "Hide content" from the bottom of the spoiler
should minimize the spoiler (ofc), and your position should not
change/move*.
* for example: you are reading a
spoiler in post 1. You hide the spoiler, but now your position is
on post 3 because minimizing the spoiler will shorten the page.
This should not happen.
What should happen: after clicking the "hide content" you'll
still be at post 1 after hiding the spoiler. Instead of dragging
the page upwards (like it normally do), it should drag the page
downwards with this button.

Honestly, no support. I see where you were going with it, but if
the spoiler was on the bottom, once you hide the content, you still
have to scroll up due to the fact that the page gets shorter. Seems
kind of pointless
That’s not how it’s supposed to work tho. I’ve already explained it
in the main post; your position on the page shouldn’t change, so
you don’t have to scroll back up. (Check the *)
I support! Although I don’t come across many infuriatingly
long spoilers, it would still be nice to have this.
and @Reshiram, once the spoiler is closed, the page will lead you
back to wherever the little spoiler line is, not place you at the
very bottom of the page (unless that’s where the spoiler is)
