Running out of her door at the same time slinging her satchel over head, Amelia raced for the lab. It was her first day and she was late. Cursing under her breathe, she raced to the path that would lead her to her destination, her blonde hair flying in the wind. "Huff... Huff... Finally made it." Leaning on the door frame, she rested for a while before entering, ready to choose her starter.

"Thank you," she said, taking the pokeball and holding it close. Finally, she would have someone to stay with her, so she wouldn't be lonely. Finally, she would have a friend. She pressed a button on the pokeball, and Shiny Snivy came out. Her jaw dropped. "Sh-shiny?" she stuttered. "I can't believe-" she picked up the Snivy. It stared at her for a second, then nodded, as if saying 'You'll do'. The Snivy gave her a quick hug around the neck, then hopped onto her shoulder. It seemed to like it there.

Aria : "Hm. You are a intelligent trainer." Professor Nick says as he opens up all the pokeballs.
The Eevee stares at Aria for a while. Then, she jumps and brushes her fur against her leg.
"She seems to like you ! Will you keep her ?"

Choices :
a. "Nope. Something else."
b. "Wow. She's so cute ! Obviously !"

Amelia : Nick notices the girl. "Come in! Wow. This is the first time so many trainers have done at once.

Tokyo wished them farewell, then exited the room. She and Snivy had already decided that they would go to Route 1 as soon as they left, so she headed in that direction, with Snivy still sat on her shoulder. Her coat billowed behind her, and she silently hoped Snivy wouldn't get blown away. She picked up her pace, and they were soon at the beginning of Route 1.

Aria picked up Eevee's pokeball. "Do you want to stay in or stay out?" She asked. Eevee leapt onto her shoulder. "Stay out, then." Aria let Eevee stay there. "I should probably give you a nickname... How about Nora?" That was inspired by the Unovan Normal-type gym leader Lenora. Nora nodded, visibly liking the name. "Nora then!" Aria waved goodbye to Professor Nick, picked up her pokeballs and pokedex, and walked out of the lab.

Holding the pokeball tightly, she examined it's shiny surface. This was it. A mudkip appeared out of the pokeball, before circling her, seemingly curious. Bending down she picked it up and looked at it. "Hmmm, Ill name you snow!!" The mudkip let out a small cry as if accepting it. Setting Snow down gingerly, she waved goodbye to the professor before leaving the lab, with snow following right behind her.

Tokyo was now walking along Route 1, Snivy still sat on her shoulder. She was about to enter her first bit of tall grass. She took a deep breath. "Ready?" She asked Snivy. She nodded. Tokyo stepped into the grass, and started walking to the other side.

Aria found Route 1 after some stumbling around. Nora didn't seem to mind-in fact, she seemed amused. Aria stepped onto the Route and into the tall grass. She wondered if anyone would like to join her.
