Jade nuzzled into her hoodie. Gladion had given it to her. She let's out a sigh. Nobody cared. She hated her mother... She was an Ultra Beast in of herself. She needed them for no reason. To test them. Like Nebby and Null. She knew nobody wanted to see her. She didn't know anybody there.

Toro gulped. “We can,” she said, trying to sound confident. She stepped back, about the length of what she thought of as a battlefield. Her drifloon floated in front of her now, and Toro stroked it slightly before letting it go forwards.

“Um, actually the ruins dont belong to anyone legally. May I see your ownership certificate or something like that?” Aria asked. Why did people say such illogical things that even they themselves knew were false? And why would anyone want to fight randomly? Team Skull made so much less sense than Team Plasma. At least Team Plasma had a motive.

She gritted her teeth. They weren’t wrong - she was as weak and unskilled as they suspected. She just somehow knew that this was the right thing to do. She had studied drifloon, so she already knew what moves it would have: Minimize and Astonish. She would use Minimize after her drifloon had dodged the first attack, and would then continuously hit with Astonish. She just hoped their Pokemon didn’t have much health...

Eden looked hurt. She frowned at Aria and went back to glaring at the grunts.


A bright light appears above the grunts. In a flash, there pokemon faint. They go running. When the light clears its the shape of a legendary. Eden looks so amazed she practically squeals.
