A shiny Mew flew to the center of the gym. She was clearly waiting for everyone to settle down before she began.

Winter, being already in his seat, simply started fidgeting his claws, wanting the dorm assignments to be over with. The chatter of the other students in the background was just that, chatter. Meaningless words about meaningless things, to him, at least. He just wanted to forget about his past. He wanted a fresh start. He wanted to forget about his old heroes, all his gifts had been left behind at his last home, and he had not the slightest idea of who was in possession of them, he didn't care. He wasn't supposed to care. he wanted to be hardened as a glacier. Cold on the inside to his past as his appearance on the outside may suggest, his quiet, cold attitude making less pokemon see him as cute and more as edgy. He didn't bother recognizing his old school friends.

The Mew called out. "I regret to inform you that Typhoon will be unable to make an appearance due to his responsibilities at our other school, therefore I will give out the assignments myself." She then started to read off the list of dorms, putting Shade, Winter, Blasty, and Trive in the first dorm, and Sapphire, Moon, and Polarian in a second dorm. Designated by gender, obviously.
