Daphne then sees more trainers coming in especially the newcomer with a Snivy, "Hi there! I see you got a Snivy, I think that Snivy will probably be the best bud for you to enjoy", Daphne smiled. Then Oshawott appeared and relaxed on the Daphne's left shoulder, hoping for new challenge that will come its way.

Aria smiled back. "Thanks." She wandered onto the route. She could see other people, but she wasn't in a socialising mood. So, she avoided going up to them by herself.

Luke is sitting on the ground playing with Slither. He lets Slither’s head, then tags him and starts running around. “You’re it.” he said and then Slither began chasing Luke as he ran around smiling.

Aria sat down in the tall grass. If a pokemon comes, she'll talk to them. If they want to come, sure. Otherwise she's not going to actively force a pokemon into a pokeball.

Professor Juniper finally arrived at Route 1, smiling as she watched the new trainers. "Alright everyone, it's good to see you all here." She made sure to catch all of their attention before continuing. "As you all might know, you need pokeballs to catch pokemon. So I brought some pokeballs for you! To catch a pokemon, battling is often the best technique, though there are some trainers who prefer not to battle. It doesn't matter how you catch your pokemon, but I encourage you to try and form bonds with all the pokemon you catch." She started to hand out the pokeballs, handing six to each trainer, along with a plastic card. "While I'm handing you your pokeballs I will also be handing you your trainer card. On the card holds your trainer I.D. which you can use to get into your PC." She stepped back once she was done, smiling at the children. "I'll leave you to it now. Once you pass through Route 1, you will find yourself at Accumula Town."



Leslie gave a determined smile towards Coal as she took her trainer ID and six pokeballs. "Heck yeah! Just you wait, I'm gonna be the champion!" She exclaimed, excitedly jumping in place. Finally she turned around and started running down the Route.

Aria rolled her eyes after Leslie. Her personal opinion was that the journey was a chance for everyone to have fun and bond with pokemon, and most people were too competitive about it. Then again, to each their own opinion. She walked off along the route, Ivy finding a comfortable place on her shoulder.

Luke smiles as he runs to route 1, trying to find a new Pokémon to befriend and hopefully train up to be strong. Slither is beside him smiling, also wanting to make friends.

After Daphne received the pokeballs, she begins to walk around the Route, "I guess I have to head north to Accumula Town, hopefully I can get some new partner Pokemon", Daphne said. As Daphne continued to walk up north, she sees some interesting Pokemon such as Patrat and Lillipup, then she sensed something, soon she sees a Patrat coming toward Daphne and her Oshawott, "Uh oh! I'm about to endure my first battle".

As Professor Juniper arrived back at her lab she spotted Jack. "Oh, hello! Come on in, the pokemon are inside." She unlocked the door and walked in, letting Jack in. She pulled out three pokeballs, each marked according to their type. "In this one there's and Oshawott." She said, pointing to a pokeball with a water drop sticker. "This one holds Tepig." She gestured to one with a fire sticker. Finally she pointed to one with a leaf, "And this one is Snivy." While she let him pick out his pokemon she walked over to a drawer, pulling it open. She retrieved a black and red device, and pulled a plastic card out of her pocket. "This is a pokedex and your Trainer card, and here..." She said, as she rustled in a bag, pulling out six pokeballs. "are some pokeballs for you to catch pokemon in."

As the trainer started to walk through the route, a Patrat jumped out of the tall grass. It let out a cry as it darted towards her, using Tackle.

Aria

While Aria was walking down the route, a Lillipup skidded into her leg. It let out a startled yip, turning around with wide eyes and preparing a Leer.

Daphne fell to the ground, but her Oshawott knew what to do, "Oshawott, what are you doing?", Daphne asked. Oshawott unleashed the challenge within it, then used the move Tackle on the Patrat, hoping that it did some damage, then Daphne recognized something, "I'm in my first battle, this is unbelievable", Daphne said.

"Whoa, sorry!" Aria knew to avoid a fight, she had to apologise first. She crouched down to make herself closer to Lillipup's level. Ivy jumped off her shoulder and smiled at Lillipup. "I'm sorry for bumping into you!" Aria added again. Her own smile mirrored that of Ivy’s in awkwardness. "I don't want to fight you." Aria added.
