All PokeHeroes rules (remember, no swearing!)
Don’t make an OP character, it's less fun for everyone!
No controlling other people’s characters!
One character each, please!
No more than 10 people
Let me know of any big plot decisions you want to make, so that I can approve or disapprove it.
No one liners! Please make your posts 2-3 lines or more, and filled with useful information!
I (LucarioLover99) get the last say in big decisions as I’m making the main plot, but I promise to be fair and I’m open to changes.
Anyone can control NPCs, but do it fairly!

Werecreatures: Werecreatures look like humans, but have the tail of the creature they can become. They can transform into a single species of animal, but are generally quite clumsy with tools, due to some of their animal instincts. They make up 25% of the population. They age the same as humans.

The Bazaar:Many traders come here to barter and sell items. You can purchase and sell random items here! Many thieves also wander this area, so watch your goods!
Dragon’s Head Tavern:You can buy a bite to eat or something to drink here. Lots of people like to come here and gossip, so you can get all sorts of information.
Topaz Palace:An inn that you can sleep and stay in. You can rent a room for one gold piece a night, and it's relatively safe and hard to steal items and information in here.
The Leopard’s Paw:A general store where you can buy things like fruit and adventuring materials.
The Hammer and Anvil:A blacksmith shop where you can buy weapons and armor, and everything made of metal in general.
The Temple:A place where monks come to study religion. You can buy things like ink, parchment and jewelry here, as well as learn about their religion.
The Task Board: People put up tasks and quests that they need finished. If you take the task paper off of the board and meet the person who requested it, you can help them out and earn some money!
The Wall:The Viper Pit is surrounded by a hard to climb wall with 2 gates, one leading to the farms and the other to Shield Spire. Guards from the Circle of Shields keep watch here and see what you have going in and out of the town. It’s mostly to keep creatures out than to keep people in, because even bird werecreatures wouldn’t be able to get very far in the desert, as the only water nearby are the local oases.
The Oasis: In the center of The Viper Pit is an Oasis. This is used as a well for people to get clean water. Swimming in it isn’t allowed!
The Farms: About an hour’s walk away from the town is a collection of farms, centered around another Oasis. Many of the citizens of The Viper Pit work there during the day.
Shield Spire: About an hour’s walk away from The Viper Pit. It’s a huge hollow rock spire which is the HQ of the Circle of Shields. It is heavily guarded, although no one except members of the Circle have a reason to go there. Supposedly, the mysterious leader of the Circle of Shields lives here.

The main religion/belief is that there is a human god, Honum, and a werecreature god, Amalis who were brothers. They protected each other from the evil dark, with Honum‘s resourcefulness with tools, and Amalis’s ability to transform into any animal. Honum blessed people with tool proficiency and Amalis gifted werecreatures with the ability to transform into an animal. The common belief after this is that they went away to a cave and fell into a deep slumber.
The town ‘government’ is the Circle of Shields, a fully human group. They try to stop thieves and protect the town’s borders from dangerous creatures. In return, citizens of The Viper Pit are expected to pay 5 gold pieces a week per household, which is collected every Sunday evening. The Circle of Shields is beginning to tax werecreatures more than humans.
The currency here is in copper, silver and gold pieces. One gold piece is the equivalent of 10 US dollars, a silver equal to 1 US dollar and a copper to 10 US cents.
Take a look at the Important NPCs section to get a good idea of typical names!

Its sunrise in the Viper Pit! The people in the Bazaar are setting up shop, and the Dragon's Head Tavern is open for buisness.
Loparu begins hurrying to the task board. Today is his day off in the Circle, so he hopes to earn some money to donate.
After a quick briefing, Suren goes home to grab his rapier forged from the scale of a dragon and his pixie dagger. He sets off for the central market to buy some supplies for his journey.
"What do you mean 6 gold?!" Demanded a man to someone of authority, someone from the Circle. Loparu didn't recognize her from his short time working for them, but she looked like she was from it, bearing the typical weapons of a Circle member: A long dagger and spiked shield. "It was 5 gold and 5 silvers last week!" The man asked again. A long rat's tail lashed angrily behind him. "6 Gold, or else!" The circle of shields member threatened.
Wait... was the man being charged unfairly? Loparu thought. His stong sense of justice compelled him to run over to see what was happening.
The boss. Loparu still didn't know who that was, but he must be a good guy, if he wants to protect the town. He only accepted humans though... maybe because werecreatures weren't great with tools... Loparu hoped that he wouldn't find out that he was a werecoyote...
Another wererat came running from the Bazaar. "Turak!" She yelled. "Just give it to them. We don't want any trouble." She told the Circle member, clearly shaken and scared. With a sigh of regret and defeat, the male wererat handed over and extra piece of gold. The Circle member took it, unsmiling, and marched away, swallowed by the crowd.
