"Awesome, I will do that. One last question, you know of any bookstores?" Astrid asked, not noticing her tone. Her sparkled with excitement, as they always did when she talked about books.

"Bookstores? I prefer smaller ones. They often have more interesting titles, from smaller, self-published writers." Maple spoke, sounding less suspicious. Asking about bookstores was hardly a bad thing. She smiled at Astrid, because she was pleased about someone else being interested in the series.

I'm trying to think of a good signature, so... Use your imagination.

Luke is walking around. If he had to exercise, could he at least exercise his brain? He decides to jog around the gym, but gets tired shortly. He decides to try and read while jogging. He pulls out the 2nd book of the Shannara trilogy. He was about halfway done.

Barry sees the girls went away and he gets back down. He decides to do more pushups. He starts doing them. He continues to think about dyeing his hair another color. He thinks he’ll go with red but hasn’t decided yet.

Maple smiled again, and, while Astrid was writing, scribbled something in her notes. 'Astrid. Seems intelligent, interested in Snicket's work. Most likely not bad.' She write carefully, then moved around Astrid's placement on her guilty-ness chart, over to 'highly unlikely'.

I'm trying to think of a good signature, so... Use your imagination.

Lukas cracked his neck, then walked up to the rope climb. He took a step back, then jumped as high as he could and grabbed on, then started climbing. He was large, but surprisingly nimble in everything he did. He smiled, then started making his way up the rope.

Mallory watched as Lukas climbed the rope. Barry was doing pushups. "Nothing interesting then." she said, and turned her music back on.

Barry sees this and goes over, lifting 200 pounds of weights instead of 150. He smiles competitively at Snowflake. He continues lifting.

Luke is still walking around with the really thick book in his hands, reading it as he walked.

On the way to the bathroom, Willow hears foot steps followed by laughter. She bows her head and clutches her bag tightly against her. She recognized the laughter. Please don't notice me she thinks to herself. As she rounds the corner she almost slams into Derick, but she moves to the side just in time. Only for her forearm to be entrapped into Derick's grip. Her breathing quickens, she feels uncomfortable by this.

"Look at who I caught!" Derick chirps happily. "It's the little freak" he suddenly jerks his hand towards him, making Willow stumble against him. "You know" he says smoothly, lowering his head so it's close to her ear. "You should come over to my dorm... maybe use your art skills to draw a picture of me. Although you may be surprised by the style of art I enjoy." He laughs at Willow's horrified expression. He shoves her away from him, which makes her slam against a locker. "I can't believe I touched her!" Derick shouts, pure disgust moving across his face. He rubs his hand onto the shirt of one of his goons. He shrieks out in mock horror.

"You'll get what's coming to you!" Willow shouts. She rubs the back of her head, which ended up hitting the locker. She winces at the touch. Fortunately for her, there is no signs of a concussion.

"What did you just say!?" Derick growls. He steps entreatingly towards her. She shrinks back against the locker, looking terrified

Mallory lowers her music. "I swear I just heard yelling." she murmured. She listened some more. "Yep, that's yelling." she said. "Now should I go check it out or not?" she asks herself. "Eh, I'm bored, let's see what's going on." she quickly sneaks out from the bleachers and heads for the lockers. "That doesn't sound good." she says, running the rest of the way but stopping as soon as she sees Derick. "Oh no." she whispers.

Sam limps out of the class and sees Derick bullying Willow. despite him having bad luck with bullies today, Sam bookmarks the page he is on in his book, closes it, and walks over to Derick. "umm... excuse me?" Sam says to Derick, lightly tapping him on the shoulder. then, out of NOWHERE, Sam slams his book into Derick's face, then leans over him and says, "are you alright?"

Edmund took a deep breath, realizing he had to pee again. I probably shouldn't have had all that water this morning, he thought to himself as he ran out of the gym to the bathroom. Sayuri saw him out of the corner of her eye. "Edmund?" she asked herself quietly, wondering why he had suddenly bolted out of the gym.
Edmund walked through the hallways, trying to remember where the closest bathroom was. "E-Edmund?" he heard a small voice from behind him call. He turned around. "Oh, hey Sayuri," he started. "What's up?"
"I saw you run out of the gym and I got worried," she said softly, playing with the hem of her gym shirt. Ed felt a slight blush grace his face out of embarrassment. "Ah, well, that was uh..." suddenly he got cut off by a scream. Sayuri looked around, confusion evident on her face. "I'm gonna go check it out," he said before hurrying away. "You comin?" he asked. Sayuri nodded quickly, following after him.

Derick rubs his red cheek. "What the hell are you reading? A Dictionary!?" Derick asks. He shoves Sam away, using one hand so he won't stumble that far. "Wait your turn!" He growls. He rubs his cheek again, turning to Willow. Who seems to be stunned. She watches the two with her mouth hanging open in surprise. That kid looks hurt, why did he just jump in like that? She wonders in shock. "You!" Derick shouts, as he points to Mallory. "Leave!" He turns to Willow, a predatory look crossing over his face.

Edmund turned the corner, seeing Derick, Willow, and a few other people. Sayuri arrived shortly after, taking in everything. "What happened? Is everything all right?" Edmund asked, walking towards Willow. "Derick, why can't you just leave people alone?"
"So that person is Derick?" Sayuri asked herself softly, looking at him.

Luke hears stuff and goes over. He does the same thing as Sam did, then threw his book that is as big as some dictionaries and it hits Derick right in the jaw.

Barry is hiding from girls, since they are after him.

He turns to Mallory, "I can tell you to do whatever I want. Or me and my buddies-" one of them cracks his knuckles. "Will crush you!" Suddenly a book slams into his jaw. The force of it makes him stumble into a wall. Blood drips down his mouth. "Who did that!?" He shouts, wincing from the pain of talking
