Mal wakes up this morning like any other, only something was off. Something didn't feel quite right. He walks downstairs for a bowl of cereal and an apple, the bittersweet juice dripping down his chin as he takes a bite.

Meanwhile, Ford walks into the kitchen with a cup a black coffee in a ceramic mug designed for his sixth finger. He sits down at the table. "Are you ready for some more weirdness Malmoeru?" he asks inquisitively. "Maybe find a Tiny Cyclops. Or maybe an extraterrestrial."

Dipper just smiles slightly back and goes to eating his food. "I told you, just call me Mal."

"Don't be a worry wart Mal." Clove said, following Mal down the stairs. Her black curls bobbed up and down as she jumped.

"Whatever. Sure I guess." Dipper stands up, giving what's left of his apple to the goat outside and rinsing his bowl.

Ford looks at Clove. "Wanna come with us?" he asks. "Could be fun."

Mal blushes. "I'm fine, but thanks." He goes upstairs to get on his gear and grabs the journals.

Ford holds the doors as the siblings pass and then closes it behind him with a slam. They make their way to the old canyon where the siblings fought Gideon. Ford pulls out a few shovels and begins digging on a hill. Dipper joins him.

They dig until Dipper finds a hatch. He opens it and below is a ladder. "Shall we?" Ford motions.

Ford inspects a lot of the equipment. "This isn't human, that's for sure, but it doesn't look to just be a bunker."

Dipper sees a sort of manual. "It's a ship," he says. "It looks like whatever we're in right now made the hole in the cliff."

"My backpack!" Mal cries as the ship starts to fly away. The backpack slides off the roof where Mal left it. The rift containment device falls to the ground and shatters.

"Hold on," Ford says, trying to maneuver the ship.
