"Why I oblivated him is the same reason I wanted to obliviate you.
I didn't want you seeing me that way. I told you that. Please don't
make me repeat it. I had my mind open, unlike you." Samton opens
the parts of his mind he had shown before. "Still do. Now, if you
want to know something more, ask me. But please, this interrogation
is just tiring and disheartening."
"I will the moment you stop treating me like I killed more than one
person. You know the rules,, that death eater was killed by all
legality, so why do you still treat me like I'm trying to bite your
head off? Did I hurt you back in the forest? In the library before?
What makes you think I will now?? Do you think just because my
happiness is dead I don't have any feelings?" The usually calm
Samton was shouting at this point.
"That's what I would have thought." Aurora said coldly. "I
recognized your magical signature somewhere. With someone." she
thinks, opening her mind to Samton but shutting it as soon as she's
sure he heard it.
"Well apparently Aurora feels quite the opposite. She wants to kill
me, it seems." Samton turns to Aurora, "this is an amalgamation of
Magical Runic symbols. Heard of it? You would have if you had payed
attention to the class in year 3. I developed it myself, too, so
I'm not sure who you are referring to."
"I'm sorry but forcing someone to the moon usually ends up killing
them. And yes, Suvi! The one person I had the slightest hope on is
now treating me like a war criminal. I have the right to treat her
as I did." Turning to her, "I'm afraid I have no clue who you're
talking about. How will something I developed ever lead to
someone else."
"Well, what do you think happens when someone's happiness dies?
They just get up and walk away, eh? Trust me, if I was given the
same choice now that I see how the very people I have called
friends all this time treat me, I would very much have just chosen
death. My determination was wrong. " Samton got up and started
heading out. "Help him catch up, Aurora. But please, try to keep
your baseless assumptions to yourself. "
"Sam wait, if you are all grumpy and don't even tell us the whole
thing so that we can help, how can you even say we're treating you
bad? You are not trusting your friends. If you really think I'm
still your friend, open up to me."
"Come with me then, Suvi." He turned to Aurora, "you may come,
too." While the first line was warm, the second one as cold as he
felt that very day. He then walked out, and headed to the seventh
floor corridor.
